We visited Eyüp Sultan, one of the most beautiful districts of Istanbul, named after one of the greatest Companions, Abu Eyyub El-Ansari (Eyüp Sultan Hazretleri ö. 672). Almost all of my childhood and school life was spent in this district. I studied here from primary school to high school. I met my close friend @stellify, who has a great importance in my life, in this neighborhood. This neighborhood is full of many beautiful memories for me, such as buying my first house in this neighborhood. Until a few months ago, I was still residing in Eyüp Sultan, but something unexpected happened and we had to move there for a short time. I want to move there again as soon as possible. There is a spiritual energy that attracts me in Eyüp Sultan that I cannot describe. Of course, one of the biggest reasons for this is that Eyüp Sultan's tomb is there! As someone who has made a habit of visiting him from a very young age, I would like to say that it has an incredible spiritual energy. It does me good to go and spend time there from time to time. That energy starts even before you enter Eyüp Sultan Tomb, on the route leading to it. Along the way, old cemeteries, historical fountains and vendors selling ethnic items make me feel like I'm traveling through ancient history. It's unbelievably pleasant just to walk here! Speaking of the streets, I don't want to pass without mentioning the cats because cats are incredibly valued here. @stellify found her beloved cat on this very street. I was with her that day and I still remember every detail! Even though I am afraid of cats, I love cats as much as all animals. Seeing them living here under good conditions makes me happy like all animal lovers. Many animal lovers come here regularly and feed the cats. This would be appropriate for such a spiritual neighborhood!
When we walk towards the square outside the tomb courtyard, we see historical mansions, birds and narrow streets. Every time I come here, I always visit the birds first and spend some time with them.
After spending some time with the birds, I enter the courtyard where the tomb is located and pray to the other dignitaries lying here and then enter the tomb. In this courtyard, which is quite magnificent, many tourists from different countries of the world come and take photos. Since it is not very convenient to take photos inside the mausoleum, I prefer to spend my time here praying. There is such a strong energy here that I get emotional as soon as I step inside the mausoleum! Anyone who knows me closely knows very well that I am a person who attaches great importance to spirituality and tries to walk with firm steps on this path. That is why I often visit such spiritual places and remind myself of the truth. Even though the modern world takes people away from reality and makes them completely dependent on matter, this spiritual love in me always manages to guide me to the right thing. This is exactly why I am here!
The mosaics and many historical textures inside the mausoleum are so magnificent that I recommend everyone to visit this place and breathe this atmosphere. It is more crowded especially if you come during the call to prayer. I try to go to the women's section when it is time for the call to prayer and accompany those praying with prayers! In short, I can say that I try to evaluate every moment and every situation here! When I come here, @stellify usually accompanies me because we are on the same path!

En büyük sahabelerden biri olan Ebu Eyyubi El-Ensari’nin (Eyüp sultan hazretleri ö. 672) adının verildiği, İstanbul’un en güzel semtlerinden biri olan Eyüp Sultanı ziyaret ettik. Benim çocukluğum ve okul hayatımın neredeyse tamamı bu semtte geçti. İlkokuldan, lise çağına kadar burada okudum. Hayatımda çok büyük öneme sahip yakın dostum @stellify ile yine bu semtte tanıştık. İlk evimi bu semtten aldım gibi birçok güzel hatıralarla dolu bu semt benim için. Birkaç ay öncesine kadar da hala Eyüp Sultan da ikamet ediyordum fakat beklenmedik bir durum yaşandı ve kısa süreliğine de olsa oradan taşınmak durumunda kaldık. En kısa zamanda tekrar oraya taşınmak istiyorum. Eyüp Sultan'da beni çeken, tarif edemediğim manevi bir enerji var. Tabiki bunun en büyük sebeplerinden biri Eyüp Sultan hazretlerinin Türbesinin orada olması! Kendisini çok ufak yaşlardan beri ziyaret etmeyi alışkanlık haline getirmiş biri olarak, oranın inanılmaz manevi bir enerjiye sahip olduğunu söylemek isterim. Dönem dönem gidip orada vakit geçirmek bana iyi geliyor. Daha Eyüp Sultan Türbesine girmeden, oraya giden güzergah da başlıyor o enerji. Yol boyunca eski mezarlıklar, Tarihi çeşmeler ve etnik eşyalar satan satıcıları ile kendimi eski tarihte yol alıyor gibi hissediyorum. Burada yürümek bile inanmaz keyifli! Sokaklarından bahsetmişken Kedilere değinmeden geçmek istemiyorum çünkü burada kedilere inanılmaz değer veriliyor. @stellify canı gibi sevdiği kedisini tam da bu sokakta bulmuştu. Ogün yanında bende vardım ve hala her detayı hafızamda! Her ne kadar kedilerden korkuyor olsam da, tüm hayvanlar kadar kedileri de seviyorum. Burada onların iyi şartlar altında yaşadığını görmek tüm hayvan severler gibi beni de mutlu ediyor. Birçok hayvan sever düzenli olarak buraya gelip kedileri besliyor. Böyle manevi bir semte de bu yakışırdı!
Türbe avlusunun dışında ki meydana doğru yürüdüğümüzde, tarihi konakları, kuşları ve dar sokaklarını görüyoruz. Buraya her geldiğimde ilk önce mutlaka kuşları ziyaret eder, biraz onların yanında vakit geçiririm.
Kuşlarla biraz vakit geçirdikten sonra, Türbenin bulunduğu avluya girip burada yatan diğer zatlara dua eder öyle türbe içerisine giriş yaparım. Oldukça ihtişamlı olan bu avluya, Dünyanın farklı ülkelerinden birçok turist gelip fotoğraf çekimi yapıyor. Türbenin iç kısmın da fotoğraf çekmek çok uygun olmadığı için burada ki vaktimi dua ederek geçirmeyi tercih ediyorum. Burada o kadar güçlü bir enerji var ki, daha türbenin içerisine adım attığım anda duygulanıyorum! Beni yakinen tanıyan herkes çok iyi bilir ki, Ben maneviyata çok önem veren, bu yolda da emin adımlarla yürümeye çalışan bir insanım. O nedenle sık sık böyle manevi yerlerde bulunup kendime gerçeği hatırlatırım. Modern dünya insanı gerçeklikten uzaklaştırıp, tamamen maddeye bağımlı hale getiriyor olsa da, içimde ki bu manevi aşk beni her zaman doğru olana yönlendirmeyi başarıyor. Burada olmak tamda bunun için!
Türbenin iç kısmında bulunan mozaikler ve birçok tarihi doku o kadar muazzam ki herkesin burayı ziyaret edip bu atmosferi solumasını tavsiye ederim. Özellikle Ezan vakti gelirseniz daha kalabalık oluyor. Ben Ezan vaktine denk geldiğimde kadınlar için olan bölüme gidip namaz kılanlara dua ile eşlik etmeye çalışıyorum! Kısacası buranın her anını, her durumunu değerlendirmeye çalışıyorum diyebilirim! Buraya geldiğimde genelde bana @stellify eşlik ediyor çünkü onunla yolumuz bir!
