No siempre una mujer tiene como uno de sus sueños el día de su boda y ese fue mi caso.
Leyendo mi feed en PEAKD, me encontre con dos post que llamaron mi atención uno de @bluevibes y otro de @mariakekin ambas participando en Ladies of Hive Community Contest #128. Me trajo recuerdos y decidí tomar parte del concurso sobre todo porque hasta antes de casarme nunca soñé con cómo sería mi boda, aquí mi resumida historia 😉.
👰🤵¿Tienes una boda de ensueño?
Que yo recuerde nunca tuve como sueño mi boda, realmente con lo que soñaba era el tener un hogar, una familia, nunca me detuve a soñar en la boda en sí; sin embargo cuando llegó el momento la emoción y felicidad me embargaron y me sumergí en el proceso.
Celebramos nuestra boda en mi ciudad natal, Rubio, aunque ya hacia varios años estaba viviendo junto a mis padres en la capital del estado; además tuvimos una pequeña fiesta que se celebró en casa de mi abuela materna.
A todas estas fueron dos razones las que motivaron mi decisión:
- La primera, siempre me ha encantado la iglesia de Rubio, Iglesia Santa Bárbara, con un estilo neogótico, aunque arquitectonicamente su forma actual es producto de varias intervenciones a lo largo de los años; pero el estar en éste espacio te trasladas en el tiempo. Su gran altura, sus columnas y paredes de ladrillo en obra limpia siempre me han parecido hermosas y por eso quise tener mi boda allí.

- La segunda, la casa de mi abuela materna fue el lugar escogido para la recepción porque su estilo tradicional con patio interior con pasillos a su alrededor, sus techos a dos aguas de teja criolla y su gran patio posterior, nos permitía reunir a todos los amigos cómodamente; una casa sencilla pero que tenía eso que buscaba, sencillez y calidez.
Si hoy fuera a celebrar mi boda y tuviera oportunidad, definitivamente sería en una playa de Venezuela 😉, sintiendo la brisa, teniendo de fondo el sonido de las olas y una hermosa playa. Creo que por ser una persona que crecio entre montañas, me encanta el mar 🏝.
😍🎉A las señoras casadas, ¿Celebran sus aniversarios de boda?.
El aniversario de bodas es algo que siempre hemos celebrado, así sólo sea una comida, una salida al cine, algo que nos recuerde la fecha y le demos ese carácter de celebración.
Creo que las fechas que nos son significativas vale la pena atesorarlas, son esas memorias lo que van a ser el motor para cuando lo necesitemos y el Aniversario de Bodas es uno de ellos.
Además un matrimonio siempre hay que alimentarlo, es como regar el jardín regularmente, quitar la malesa, renovar el abono, colocar plantas nuevas; el matrimonio requiere de un esfuerzo consciente y constante, es una inversión financiera, física, emocional y espiritual a largo plazo.
Espero que quienes esten casadas, celebren a su manera su Aniversario de Bodas, es la excusa perfecta para renovarse en pareja 💞.

It brought back memories and I decided to take part in the contest, especially because until before I got married I never dreamed about how my wedding would be, here is my summarized story 😉.
👰🤵Do you have a dream wedding?
As far as I remember I never had my wedding as a dream, really what I dreamed about was having a home, and a family, I never stopped to dream about the wedding itself; however, when the time came excitement and happiness overwhelmed me and I immersed myself in the process.
We celebrated our wedding in my hometown, Rubio, although I had been living with my parents in the capital of the state for several years; we also had a small party that was held at my maternal grandmother's house.
There were two reasons that motivated my decision:
- First, I have always loved the church of Rubio, Iglesia Santa Barbara, with a neo-Gothic style, although architecturally its current form is the product of several interventions over the years; but being in this space you are transported in time. Its great height, its columns, and its brick walls in clean work have always seemed beautiful to me and that is why I wanted to have my wedding there.

- The second, my maternal grandmother's house, was the place chosen for the reception because of its traditional style with an interior patio with corridors around it, its creole tile gabled roofs, and its large backyard, which allowed us to gather all the friends comfortably; a simple house but that had what I was looking for, simplicity and warmth.
If I were to celebrate my wedding today and I had the opportunity, it would definitely be on a beach in Venezuela 😉, feeling the breeze, having the sound of the waves, and a beautiful beach in the background. I think that because I am a person who grew up in the mountains, I love the sea 🏝.
😍🎉 To the married ladies. Do you celebrate your wedding anniversaries?
A wedding anniversary is something we have always celebrated, even if it's just a meal, a movie outing, or something to remind us of the date and give it that celebratory nature.
I believe that the dates that are meaningful to us are worth treasuring, those memories are what will be the engine for when we need them and the Wedding Anniversary is one of them.
Besides, a marriage must always be nurtured, it is like watering the garden regularly, removing weeds, renewing the compost, and planting new plants; marriage requires a conscious and constant effort, it is a long-term financial, physical, emotional, and spiritual investment.
I hope that those of you who are married, celebrate your in your own way your Wedding Anniversary, it is the perfect excuse to renew as a couple 💞.
