I remember watching wedding celebrations on TV when I was growing up and thinking to myself how much I'd love to be part of one some day. It's not about the party or the gifts, or even the food (yes, I know, hard to believe I'm saying this 😁). It's about having all the people that have impacted your life or changed its trajectory in a massively positive way, altogether, in one place, celebrating YOU!
Today, that's exactly what we did. We're getting one step closer to the wedding so it was BRIDAL SHOWER time! Knowing Sandra, we were all expecting something fancy and classy. And let me tell you, she knows how to plan and execute these things!
The shower took place at a very chill vibe Italian restaurant called Piatti (Sandra's half Italian so it made perfect sense). I had checked out the menu prior to arriving since I'm a curious one and it looked delicious.
We were greeted by a few of the ladies we had met previously during the Bach & Boujee weekend so we sat down and started mingling. Soon enough, our beautiful bride to be arrived! 🤩
She looked STUNNING! From her make up to her dress to her heels...To her beautiful smile, she was the diamond of the season 😌 She came in with Alex, he soon to be husband, but he quickly left - I mean, he probably felt overwhelmed being in a room with 20-30 women, chit chatting the day away 😁
Once he left, it was time for the food to be served. Drinks have already been served and yes, you guessed it - mimosas! While waiting for our starters, we played a game of how well we know the future Mrs. It was quite fun and we all scored great points!

All the food you see in these photos was a delicious masterpiece 🧑🏻🍳💋 I couldn't get enough of the arancini, the potatoes and the salmon! Will definitely be going back to this place!
After all the food, we played some more games, spent some time with Sandra and also took some time to do a mini photo shoot. Because did it really happen if we didn't take at least one selfie?! 😁

Remya also pointed out that the flowers on the tables matched the colour of my dress so obviously, I had to ask her to take a photo of me 👸🏻
All in all, it was a beautiful party with some great women, mouthwatering dishes and lots of laughter! Sandra looked as beautiful as ever and we all can't wait to be there on her special day beginning of June! 👰
