Hello #ladiesofhive, its my first time here and I do hope I'm permitted to participate in this contest.
Women have long been important members of society, yet their efforts are sometimes undervalued. But more women than ever are taking the initiative and speaking up. They are questioning the current quo and clamoring for their rights.
The definition of what it means to be a woman is being rewritten by women. They are dismantling gender norms and demonstrating to the world that there is no one notion of what it is to be a woman. They each have a distinct beauty that is both strong, powerful, and individual.
What does it mean to be a woman ? It means remaining true to yourself despite what others may think. It implies putting up a robust defense of your rights. It entails recognizing your individuality and embracing your femininity.
Over time, "woman" has come to mean several things.
In the past, women were viewed as domesticated beings in charge of caring for the family and kids. She was not permitted to vote or work outside the home.
Women are now viewed as professionals who can work outside the home and are on an equal footing with men. She is qualified to cast a ballot and run for office.
Every woman must define for herself what it means to be a "woman," as the term is always evolving.
In light of the evolving ideas of sex and gender in the modern world, how would you respond to your kids' inquiries?
Discuss sex and gender with your child in a way that they can understand. Keep your language simple and appropriate for your audience's age.
Inspire your child to ask questions and express their emotions. Let them know it's acceptable to have uncertainties or confusions about these issues.
For your kids to explore their identity, create a comfortable environment. Provide assistance and direction as they work through these challenging problems.
If your child approaches you with inquiries about the evolving ideas of sex and gender in this digital age, be sure to pay close attention and provide them all the information they require. It's critical that you make them feel at ease approaching you with any queries or worries they may have and that you offer them a secure and encouraging environment in which to discuss these matters.
Remain composed and understanding if your kids expresses dissatisfaction with their gender or sex. Regardless of what their sex or gender may be, reassure your kids that they are cherished and valuable. Help them locate tools and contacts that will enable them to research their options and come to the right choice for their personal happiness.
I'm inviting @iyiolamitide and @lauracraft to participate
