In this post, I want to make an appeal to our men and others that they should stop the abuse and maltreatment of women. We have been having stories of women going through domestic violence in their relationships. Some have been raped. The tales of women's ill treatment and abuse are everywhere.
Many women have been subjected sexual abuse and violence various forms. There are men who humiliate the womanhood by forcing ladies in sexual abuse before giving them jobs. We have heard of lecturers Forcing female students to have sex with them for marks. This is a terrible offense. Let our men learn to be decent and morally just in any way they are dealing with the women.
In my community, we have several cases of women who have been impregnated and they are carrying the babies all by themselves. The men denied the pregnancy and abandoned them. This issue of impregnating women and abandoning them with the pregnancy should be fought against seriously. Let the dignity of the woman be respected.
This morning, while going out to get to my workshop, I met a lady crying. She was so wounded by the way a man treated her that she could not control emotions. She could not control the tears.
Let every man who has helped to assist a lady do so with dignity. Let those who offer them financial assistance do so with dignity. Let the dignity of womanhood be respected. Thank you for taking that decision to respect and make others respect the dignity of the woman.
