@zakludick @merenludick @aimeluduck and @matthewludick and I all crammed into the car with all my musical toys to join @jasperdick and his lovely wife @juliadick, along with their gorgeous little girl Maddy and some friends from Cape Town to enjoy a well deserved weekend away.
We have a gig tonight, which is most exciting and while everyone else is going to the beach and enjoying the local market, I'm enjoying some r&r and letting my meds do their work so I'll be in good form for tonight 😊
So far, we've been treated to 1st class catering (thanks for a gorgeous supper last night Julia! I was so hungry I didn't even take a photo of the perfectly cooked steak you made us for dinner) and the most lovely accommodation.
Apparently this holiday home has been in the Baker family for generations.
With its high ceilings, stunning views and decades of memories; palpable from within the walls and in the air, we have truly been made to feel at home.
