Greetings Ladies of Hive!
How has your year been? Cos I know mine has been spectacular.
Have you been able to sit back and reflect on how it went or is still going?
Writing on this topic has given me the opportunity to reflect and think back.
As for me, 2022 has been one of the best years I've ever experienced so far. I've experienced growth like never before.
I remember vividly when this year started.
Just as everyone was penning down their new year resolution, I did also.
I used a full scalp to do that and believe you me, it got filled.
Fast forward down the line to 4 months into the year.
I went back to my list and I was not able to achieve some of it.
I was worried that I won't be able to achieve anything for the year. That the year will be just like other years, unproductive.
But looking back and reminiscing on how the year went, I can see the hand of God. I've been able to achieve more than I expected.
I found purpose.
I made new and valuable relationships.
I unlearnt, relearnt and learnt new things.
One of the lessons I learnt occurred when I was talking to a dear friend of mine.
We were reflecting on how our lives has gone for the both of us.
So she made a statement that struck a cord in me.
"Chimdi, don't ever run away from the plan/will of God for your life. I did and I wasted 10 years of my life just because of how strong headed I was. Now I've gone back to that same place He told me to be and I'll remain there no matter what. ".
When she told me that, I was taken aback.
And I realized that most of my plans were not in line with the will of God.
So just like my friend advised, stick to the plan of God at all times.
