1️⃣ Who in your life inspires you to become the best version of yourself and how do they do so?
Hello everyone, I welcome you to my blog. It's another opportunity to join in this week's #Ladiesofhive contest after a while. Thanks to God for another opportunity to witness another day on the land of the living. Picking the first topic on who inspires me to be the best version of my self.
My brother inspires me to be the best version of my self. I can say he is God sent to me. Times I do not even know what to do with my self and he just comes through with his advice and words of encouragement and in monetary aspects too
We are so eager to be adult,not knowing it is filled with lots of expectations. Most of us even set deadlines to achieving some things, and if we don't we often feel sad about it. The kind of pressure that is attached to adulthood is scarier. I would say he made my adulthood much more easier, especially some decisions that was difficult for me to make.
When I ventured into fashion designing, my tutor without prior notice left her shop, her line wasn't going through either, I had a spare key so this made me to get to her shop before her, for weeks I was just the only one there, I felt neglected, I regretted ever picking her place to learn, one of the reasons I went there was because I thought she would have time for me since I was the only apprentice she had, but she made it even more difficult, trying to hide some things like cutting clothes from home then coming to shop to sew it and no explanation to me.
Later she stopped coming, this was when I knew I made a big mistake in my choice of picking her place, then she sent me a text that I should come and pack all the materials I brought, my parents were not happy about this new development, because I resigned from work so I could fully concentrate on this handwork, I was very sad.
After all the blaming that why did I even go there in the first place, my brother still supported me and he understood that I didn't know it will be like that. I see him as someone that inspires me not because he is into fashion designing but he always come through for me, when I said maybe I should forget this fashion designing, he still encouraged me to change location that maybe I will see things differently, now I have fallen in love so deeply with it and I take it as a career that I will never allow it slip away.
