When I was a little kid I had a diary. I would take everywhere and would talk about everything that felt significant in my life. If I got mad with someone I would write about it. If I did something very exciting I would write about. If I was sad I would write about it. Once I finished all of the pages I didn’t write a diary again.
I didn’t realize how important it was until I was a teenager. I was constantly on my phone and for that reason I found it hard to concentrate on my homework. I always felt the need to get my phone and watch Tik tok, Instagram, etc. Although I couldn’t stop this behavior I really wanted to focus on my studies and the rest of the world I was missing out.

2 years ago I decided that every time I had to do homework or study, which was basically every day, I would write an entree in a diary just to leave my phone aside and focus better. For months it worked really well. But in the end I stopped doing it.
This 2023 I want to repeat this, but this time I’ll try and make it last longer. It won’t only let me concentrate on something other than my phone but it will also help me unwind and reflect on the things that are happening in my life at the moment.
