I want to share my thoughts on the question thrown by @ifarmgirl “Some people are happier when it rains, others' moods tend to shift and they become blue (sad or down). How do you usually feel on rainy days and what are your favorite things to do?”
Living in one of the tropical countries, we only experience two seasons-the rainy and dry seasons. There are lots of benefits during the rainy season. There would be plenty of water on the dam as the source of water for each household. The well and tank would be full of water. The farmers and gardeners would be happy since the plants and trees would be healthy from the nutrients that came from the rain. I think most living things love rain.
Despite having more benefits of rain, I feel no energy during this season. I feel weak and not in the mood. Well, it’s a season when I experienced common illnesses like cough, runny nose, and fever. I always describe myself as a sunflower who needs sunrays every time. The funny thing is, I don’t like rain but on every birthday of mine, it will always rain. I just always think that it’s a blessing since it’s my day.
Well, my favorite things I do during rainy seasons are the following: sleeping, eating, and sleeping again.
Since I feel weak during rainy seasons, all I ever do is stay in our house and sleep. When I wake up, I like to eat hot noodles. For me, it’s a good combination when we have this type of season. Then, I will return to sleep since when during this season, the data connection in our place is not good due to bad weather. I’m not patient enough to wait for a good connection, so I just sleep.
