Change! Change!! Change!!!
Adeola, are you ready for a change in 2025?
If there's anything I need to change this year, 2025, it's to become a new ME. I want to transform into someone who will not listen to anything negative because it does no good for my health. I just want to be WHO I AM: a positive-minded person, ambitious, compassionate, friendly, and free-spirited.
In this year, I want to move closer to God, my Creator. Lately, I have been lazy about the things of God. If you knew me before, I was a devoted church girl who didn't just attend church but actively served God. I never regretted serving Him because it pays very well. I want to be a doer of His word and not just a hearer, as it is stated in the Bible (James 1:22): "But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." A change must happen to me in 2025.
I also want to build and nurture strong and meaningful relationships in 2025. I need to distance myself from negative and narrow-minded people. Negative influences will certainly break you. I believe that when you are connected with positive-minded individuals, you begin to see life in a new dimension, and your sense of reasoning will function more effectively. I want to practice active listening, as the Bible commands us to be āquick to listen, slow to speak, slow to angerā (James 1:19). A new ME in 2025š
Lastly, my health and total wellness are priorities I must take to heart seriously because health is wealth. I want to put more effort into what I consume, avoid things that can damage my health, practice regular exercise, and prioritize a better sleep routine, this is what I lack the most. Rest and relaxation are a must for me this year. The body is not a stone!
This is me reflecting on the lessons I learned in 2024 and desire a change in 2025.
With these changes, I am determined to embrace a new and improved version of myself in 2025.
No time for foolishness in 2025
