Chapter 1
Welcome to the first chapter of a young lady's diary or as I love to call it her personal journal. If you are still surprised or perplexed by my identity, then I will tell you to go back and read my Introductory Post
After launching my introductory post, I must say that the feedback has been so warm to me. I've seen people with respectable reputations most especially influential ladies from the Ladies of Hive Community, ladies like @jane1289 who made me feel like a part of a community made up of phenomenal women with her words:
The tough life situations really pushed us to do things for the sake of survival. May it be undergrad or not, what matters are the skills and knowledge gained and experiences.
Moving on, shout-out to @macchiata for sharing tips for newbies, DAMN! that comment was really insightful and I would advise every newbie like myself should read it. Here's the LINK newbie to the tips. More so, it wouldn't be complete if I didn't thank @samostically. I know he's not one of the phenomenal ladies cause he's a guy but I know how I constantly bugged him through phone calls and video calls, just to learn more about hive.
Down To The Diary
So I've made up my mind to turn my blog into a diary where I dish out content regularly about what's going on in my life and the struggles I face being a woman.
Let's begin
Today I began my day by waking up at 6 am to prepare my mind first for the amount of work I have installed for the day. Then I moved over to the toilet to wash up and brush my teeth cause as they always say in the toothpaste adverts
Begin your day with a fresh breath and strong teeth
But the hard part of my day has to do with the fact that I have chores to attend to. Since being the last born and only child out of the trilogy still staying with the older generation at home, I am obligated to handle all the chores. And the society I find myself in today has built a child up with the mentality that chores in the house should be done by the younger gen, which in this case happens to be me.
After all the chores, moved on to the next part of the day: Preparing for Work
Currently working as a hairstylist where I get to learn the basics of making wigs, attachments, hair products, and a little bit of make-up. Next, I will be making a video on what I do as a hairstylist which wouldn't be much of a big deal for me.
Honestly, at most times I don't feel the urge to keep going cause when I think about it, it feels like I grew too fast for my age but come to think of it, these are the struggles of a lady.
But here comes the sense of relief, I'm now a content creator on hive where get to write about what I'm dealing with and still gain rewards from it. This for me is the icing on my cake and the spice to my life's delicacy.
ONCE AGAIN WELCOME TO THE DIARY OF A YOUNG LADY AND THIS IS ALL FOR CHAPTER 1
