It was a plan! Let's get together and celebrate the girls in the group. Of course, this idea is not our brainchild.
The party of 5 (supposed to be 6 but H couldn't find someone to help take care of her Mum) was put together by Bestie_K, "Hey, if we don't learn to love ourselves then why should we expect anyone else to love us?"
We could not not agree and so we gathered on the 13th of February at her place. The gals are:-
K - who is open for a man to come into her life. Even though she is not actively looking because she is busy setting up her future ie, her business but if Cupid was to so draw his arrow, she'll say "bring it on".
S - Our game queen, who is always up for game night (or day). Good thing too, coz she has most of the board games.
D - Who was a little under the weather, but we wouldn't let her bail on us. Besides she had bought The Lepak Game which is the Malaysian equivalent to Cards of Humanity, and we had to test it out.
A - This would be the first time we are hanging out, so I have no dirt to dish except she was a great fit.
And then there's me, who was more than happy to hang out and have a little fun with the ladies.
As soon as we walked in, K handed out flowers. I love orchids and I heart my Bestie <33

To play Gin Rummy, K had bought two packs of cards. They were about RM40/USD10 each. I thought it was a little expensive. But it is fancy.
So, after muching on the goodies that everyone brought which included chips and cream puffs and apple strudel, we got to playing the games. From Rummy to The Lepak Game which was as Malaysian as it gets which included bribing/sweet-talking/pitching the "boss" why we should win, we had a tonne of laughs.
But the one that got us giddy with laughter and rowdy was this game Red Flags. According to boardgamegeek.com
In Red Flags, your goal is to use "Perk" cards to create the best date for "The Single" (the judge for this round). However, there is a catch. Players may also play "Red Flags" (bad traits) in an attempt to sabotage another player's hot date.
To be honest, some of the perks didn't even need red flags, they were questionable as is. But we had too much fun throwing in the weirdest weird traits like "Amateur Cannibal" to a perk like a gift of kissing someone to cure cancer. Wait, is he also tasting them in the process? Or the World's Number 1 Wrestler who couldn't get it up.
I am surprised the neighbours did not complain. How can 5 women be so loud hahaha. It was too much fun, and every gal should have a group of friends like this. It was a very good day.
