LADIES OF HIVE COMMUNITY CONTEST #167
Hello, ladies ‼️
How are all of you doing? I hope you and your family have had a happy first week of the new year. I would like to write on one of the topics that this community has to offer, and I have selected the following topic:
1️⃣ Is there a person or a special moment that you want to thank for making 2023 a great year? Or could you simply leave us a few words of gratitude for this year that we leave behind?
As we say goodbye to the year 2023, a lot happened to me in that year. I am overcome with deep appreciation for anything and everyone involved with me. Although the year has been somewhat of a rollercoaster with me and its share of highs and lows, looking back, I see more grounds for gratitude than not.
First of all, I would like to thank a few of my friends, Anie and Maryen, for being there when I needed them to. Their support since the beginning of the year, before and during my operation, has been truly a blessing. I will always treasure the kindness and care they gave me throughout my recovery.
I am also extremely grateful to my friends for supporting me through my worst times. I really couldn't have made it through those difficult days without their unwavering support and presence. Some might call me or even text me; some of them might video call me just to show their support for me.
My favourite memories of the year have been the ones that I've spent with my family. There are a few moments that really made my year: the ones we spent laughing, eating together, and spending quality time together, especially with my son, who was in his last year of primary school.
My children have also given me a great deal of pride and happiness that money can't buy. My boys, who always help me out around the house and show how responsible they are without me asking, and my daughter, who has grown into a mature adult, secured her dream job, and achieved success in her art career, even in her art business with her friends, have all made me a proud mother.
Thinking back over last year's 2023 event reminded me of the wealth in my life—a loving family, understanding and kind friends, and always ready to face the concequenses. These are the real riches that money can't buy, and I really appreciate for every good and bad that happens to me throughout the year.
I'm eager to welcome whatever is ahead of me as we enter the new year 2024. I am carrying the love and lessons learned from this one with me, and I will always be grateful for any ups and downs that happen to me.
I shall end my piece here with the hope that my family and I will always be blessed. I know who I will be with in happy and sad times, no matter what the future brings. I also appreciate the Hive platform because it has somehow assisted me in an indirect way.
Thank you to all of you who took the time to read my blog, and I pray that you will always be blessed. Peace be upon you until we meet again in the upcoming topic.
