Children’s day is definitely special and enjoyable day full of fun both for children and parents. It is a time when families unite for children and babies, and all kids receive lots of attention and affection. This is especially important as a parent because when I become one I will ensure that this day is enjoyable for my kids.
In this light, my nephews ,nieces and cousins stay with me so I rise from bed early on Children’s Day to adorn the house with colorful balloons and flowers. I cook their favorite breakfast and add small gifts and toys for them to help make their morning special. The whole day is filled with exciting events like baking cookies, playing games, and most importantly watching the beloved movies.
During the night we sit for a special family dinner all the families then read their bedtime story and hug each other. As for me, even though I am not a mother, and therefore do not have my own kids, I also try to celebrate Children’s Day in some way, perhaps by being a kid again for a day.
During this one day, I chase things that would make me happy and these are strolling through the park, eating ice cream, playing with my nieces and nephews. That is why I think I should always take care of that child within me and remain as cheerful and playful as a child.
I feel so refreshed and encouraged every time I get to come out and play and be silly on Children’s Day. Sometimes when I listen to it all the cares in the world disappear and I am able to get in touch with myself.
It gives me a sort of childishness which erases nearly all of my concerns and other stresses that I may be experiencing in current life. Although Children’s Day is an annual event that children must enjoy, for me, it is an opportunity to recall the feelings of a child and the moments of happiness and laughter..
