As I transitioned to become an adult I have missed watching the sunrise and sunset. It is not because I'm not interested in it. In fact, it would be heavenly to take a glimpse of the sun as it peaks through the clouds. I would want to feel its rays and position my face towards the sun to get as much vitamin as I can. But my everyday routine wouldn't permit.
Once in a while, I'm blessed with the luxury of watching beautiful sunrise and sunset. Sometimes when I'm waiting for my ride back home,I'm taken aback at h
the sky in beautiful colors.
This photo was taken a few years back. We were patiently waiting for the sunrise as a clip is needed for a promotional video. Sunrise is magical but it comes with a price. One has to be a morning person for him to witness it regularly. This is the problem of most people. Sometimes, we fail to witness the beauty of sunrise because we woke up late and tired from working overnight. Perhaps, we are too busy and always in a hurry to clock in to work and beat deadlines.
This one is captured while I'm on my way home. The photo can't justify how great the sunset was but it was all that I could get to have a reminder of the rare moments that I get to see nature's beauty.
Sunsets and sunrise are beautiful reminders that life is good. We just have to slow down and appreciate these little things in life that gives us pure joy. It is the only constant thing that gives us hope. Sunrise equate to hope and new beginnings. It brings fresh start and clean slate to "begin or try again". Sunsets reminds us to rest and have a break. It is signal for us to prepare ourselves as the day transition into night. It is a statement of a "job well done".
Personally, sunset is a favorite. I like the idea that it is the hint of night time and it entails rest. This time, I would get to slow down and do things that pampers and rewards my body, soul, and mind.
I admire people who find time to really witness both the sunrise and sunset. There are people who would really find a good spot to witness and document the stunning views of sunset and sunrise. Some would travel or hike their way to the perfect sunrise/sunset spot. Some would even wait a little longer and linger, soaking in the nature's beauty and life's free therapy.
Thank you so much @elizabethbit for this lovely prompt. Hello again, friends.
