And the funny part of all this is how fast we got to this stage. You’re one today and the next minute you’re 20. Man, time needs to slow down for us to catch a break. Now, I’m an adult and I don’t even know what to say cos life is beating the hell out of me. But what I say to myself everyday is that it’s just a phase and it would pass. But, this phase doesn’t look like it will pass soon.
Thinking about it, do I really have a life aside work at this point. Moving away from home to start life faraway has been hard on me but at least I know I’m finding my feet. The good part of all this is that I know I’m not alone, I have a few friends around who do check up on me , spend time with me and all of that. @abu78, I haven’t forgotten how you lied to me two days ago that you will come around but you never did.
Even though I’m mostly busy with work and general life stuff, I wouldn’t say I don’t have a social life. I have, but it’s really not a bustling one. My friends are also busy people but we all have our free days which can be holidays, the weekends or days when we all don’t have anything to do. On days like this, we just hang out doing little to nothing all day. It’s just vibes , laughter and fun. The surprising part of all this is the fact that we don’t really plan any of this, it just happens.
Also, even though we all live in different places, the universe finds its way to make us all meet at one place coincidentally. It’s just happens that @yahuzah is going to this place to get this thing and I magically happen to also be heading that way and @abu78 is also already there doing his own thing. Surprise right? Yes.😂
With this, I wouldn’t say I don’t get to spend time with my friends. Even if I don’t say oh, today I’m going to go visit this or that person, almost every week, we someway somehow meet up to just spend time with each other and to me, that’s more than enough. Life can be overwhelming sometimes, but we all have to find joy in the chaos.
