Romance scams are on the rise, and anyone can be a target. Scammers create fake profiles on dating sites and apps or contact their targets through popular social media sites like Instagram and Facebook. They strike up a relationship with their victims and build trust, sometimes over months or even years. They eventually ask for money, often pretending to need it for medical bills, travel costs, or unexpected emergencies.
What will you do to avoid being a victim of dating scams online?
In today's world, there are many scams, and being scammed is never a pleasant experience. When it comes to searching for true love, women can be more vulnerable and these scammers target women most times and take advantage of their vulnerabilities. They do so mostly by fake empty promises and sweet words which can leave my gender so difficult to restrain thereby getting hurt emotionally and perhaps financially.
The happiness of feeling loved or being in love is very beautiful. It is what some people have been longing to get in their entire life, and seeing someone showing them love beyond measures just makes them fall deeply into it without thinking if it's genuine love or a Scam...
Why do you think they aren't able to detect that some love is fake and some love is just love shown externally and not genuine? it might come as the love for something they want from the person and the rate at which this is increasing is very alarming...
The only way you can be scammed in love is when you are desperate to have a partner or feel loved. Love is not forced, it is something that develops in the heart gradually until it takes deep root...Do not let desperation drive you to be emotionally scammed!
Why would I go to a dating site to look for love??
What of my surrounding, or anywhere else around the world, we have churches, functions, and gatherings that lots of people attend, one can cross paths with someone from any gathering and one thing will lead to another after thorough observation and knowing each other...
In this modern day, people are looking for various ways to make money, dubious ways at that, and it is increasing drastically and it's high time people start acting like a detective!...
There is a 💯 percent chance of finding love online, I am not disagreeing with that, and we have about 50 percent of today's partners who met as a result of social media platforms, and from there, they got to know each other in real life and after meeting their parents everything sets out for the better...
Nevertheless, one needs to be wise and careful when dealing with social media relationships. You need to open up to all possible thoughts, watch and observe everything, make sure you are not emotionally entangled in a lie, and don't compromise with social media relationships, if you feel there is no atom of truth or honesty, cancel whatever you think is growing...
Nobody is perfect and anybody can fall victim to social media relationships scam, but the best way to avoid these unintended consequences and outcomes is to stay away from dating sites, or when you see you are developing something for a stranger who has infiltrated your HEART, just dig deeper into his or her life, hire a detective or rather don't be on a social media platforms finding love.
You have to be wise in taking these steps, I have seen a lot of people who are alive and thriving without social media love, you can do without it also, just train yourself and slowly you will get better, I won't allow one stranger to infiltrate my heart and deprive me of the remaining happiness in my life...
Other ways you can avoid being a victim if you must date online are: by not sharing sensitive information about yourself, don't send money to a stranger, or accepting friend requests from strangers. Ensure that a close friend of yours or any of your family members is aware of your online relationship n case you may need assistance on anything especially when love is over clouding your mind.
In conclusion, BE SAFE, BE WISE AND BE SMART, scammers are everywhere looking for whom to DEVOUR 👌👌👌👌
