Good day my wonderful people on this amazing platform, how are you doing today? How is your day going? Do have a wonderful day.

1️⃣ According to the Internet, Euthanasia is the intervention voluntarily accepted by the patient and performed by a medical professional, which accelerates the death of a terminally ill patient, with the intention of avoiding unnecessary suffering and pain. Do you agree with this way of dying, do you think it dignifies the person in his decision of how to leave, or on the contrary, do you think it should not be practiced? Could you argue your point of view?

There are some tough and difficult decision one has to make when an illness refuse to be cure and money has been spent. Although that is not the best option but when It comes to some extent, that is the only option left {when one has been on sick bed for years and there's no assurance of recovery and the pains are getting worse the patient may seek Euthanasia in order to die painlessly}.

Now talking from experience.
There was this old lady when I was in school. She had three children two male and one female only one of them in the country others are outside the country. This old lady was very ill thank God all the children are ok and they are all married.

When the woman fell ill the daughter came to check on her mother and she really tried for her but the old lady like she knew from day one she's not going to make it she ask the daughter to go back to the state but couldn't leave her mother in that condition so she called the other two and inform them that mother ask her to leave and she also request to be discharged from the hospital she said she prefer to die at home. The children agreed and they make all the necessary arrangements for their mother.

One of the arrangement was that, they get someone to look after her and the person is being paid. The doctor also comes almost everyday to check on her well being, she was made comfortable but this old lady did not die ooooo and the sickness continue to get worse but she won't die. The first year pass also the second the third year the children were already tired so they stop all medications thinking she will die, the doctor doesn't show up any more infact the doctor does not pick calls from the helper anymore.

After the fifth year the old lady ask the helper to call her children and she wept bitterly and thank the children, so the children taught it was time for their mother to go and they were also crying. When she finish all she wants to say to them, she told the children to call the doctor to come and take her quietly the children were shocked to hear that from their mother. They were all apologizing to her but she said that is what she wants, they have no choice than to respect her last wish and they comply.

At a point in our life when we find ourselves in a position we do not plan for and we have to make a choice, is better to think wisely before jumping into conclusion.

Thanks for visiting my blog and have a great day

Respecting the last will of the sick person, I think that's the point of all this. And if the sick person no longer wants to continue suffering, why prolong his or her suffering.

Hmm, this story is deep o, even with the sickness, her life was still hanging on, I am not certain I can allow such anyway.

Death itself is not easy, but when the pains get to some level and there's no assurance of recovery. Is better to go quietly... Sickness will not be our portion

Amen, a difficult situation, hmm

Amen

Hmmm what a pathetic story, the woman can't take it anymore. I pity her children, but I don't think I can take such. I pray we all shouldn't have illness beyond medical control🙏

Amen 🙏. May we not live the best part of our lives in sickness.

Amen o, lovely piece lady

Thanks
