DEAR MOTHER
Saying am great full would and is an understatement, thank GOD for hand picking you to mother me, because nobody would have done it better, you sharped my life into this young lady I have become.
There are so much I have gotten to understand in the past few years of my life, how one would love so whole heartedly without expectations what so ever.
Thank you for all the night I kept you up and u stayed, thank u for putting me to bed and reassuring me that there where no monsters under the bed or in the wardrobe.
Growing up now only to realize that you where as afraid as I was but u only just had to be my mother and put up a strong face and attitude, to make me feel safe.
Thank you for your prayers and advice even thou I would still do it my way, only to realize that you were right and knows better and was only looking out for me.
Thank you for supporting all my crazy ideas even the ones you know would probably not see the light of day, with prayer and even financially.
In a million lifetime I will choose You over and over, in this world where challenges are in abundance I pray for you more.
Over the years I really never found a match when it comes to friendship, but you have always been my bestie who I can confide in, my disciplinarian, you taught me in the sweetest ways and in the hard way when need be, how to be of good behavior, respectful and contented.
Growing up my mother had a super power as we called it she knew how to communicate with every part of her body without saying a word, and surprisingly we would understand.
She will always say when u smile u are ten years younger, I can count on one hand how many times I have seen my mother sad or anger, always very cheerful.
I grow in plenty of of love even as you where the only parent I had you never allow me felt less in the mist of other, I had all the love from both parents just from you.
A special thanks for the discipline because see how helpful it has been, growing up, when I was wrong and you correct me with wraps, I use to think it was because you didn’t love me, but am happy you did disciplined me.
All I need you provided, all I needed, yes I had wants too, u had little, and you had a way of talking me out of unnecessary wants and I would begin to wonder how I ever wanted that in the first place.
Down the line I remember that very night you woke me up, as little as I was to ask for my permission to remarry, and how you assured me that nothing would change, that the only change would be the size of the family, and u where true to your word our family got bigger but ur love never got smaller it was sufficient to go round.
One life lesson you taught me was **what ever i can’t afford I should not love ** but I can admire, and move on, but i can work a little bit harder it could be mine.
You taught me and my siblings to forgive, be truthful and speak out this has help me so much that I don’t know how to hold grudge.
O my mother the best and first birthday gift life gave me without me asking, you where a father to just me, and you remarried and life took him from you again, and you resumed from where you had stop from parenting me alone, to parenting four children and u have successfully sent three through school, as a teacher you taught us the important of education, as long as you are under her roof you can not, not go to school.
You alway want use to be the best Version of ourselves, looking back now you where so strict, that non of us where found, on the offending side, we where children that where use for comparison, in good behavior to others.
If I don’t stop here, I won’t stop I love you Iya precious that what we call her, meaning precious mother
