LOH #210 - Embracing Moderation

in #hive-124452 ā€¢ 17 hours ago

Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome šŸ¤—

The holiday season is usually a time for love, joy, and sharing. Because of this, there's usually an abundance of food drinks and snacks; one is most likely tempted to overindulge.

As for me, I am not a big eater, so no matter the abundance of food, I don't overeat. I have never allowed the festive period to get to me. As a matter of fact, the same portion of food I would eat on a normal day is the same portion I would eat during the festive period.

I have a very sensitive stomach, so in a way this has made me prioritize moderation and learn self-control.

I have heard people say the only time they get to eat different varieties of food in a large portion is during the holidays. So this has made it hard for people not to indulge in overeating, but it is actually possible not to overeat even with the table set with a variety of meals.

All you need to do is decide your indulgence limit; this is not the same thing as deprivation.

You can still enjoy your favorite holiday treats in moderation. Having this in your subconsciousness would help you be mindful of what you eat while still enjoying the fun and experience that comes with the holiday without compromising your well-being.

This is my entry into this week's prompt by @elizabethbit

It's true moderation it's very important in life ā¤ļø

Thank you šŸ˜Š

It is best to avoid overeating all year round, particularly during the holidays!
It is so tempting, though! Especially when the food is not the usual and is appetizing. The company is a factor too!

This moderation is going on holiday. I am so glad for the kind of stomach I have, it can accept anything šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

You are lucky, my stomach can't take more than two to three types of food at the same time. Ordinary sweet gives me stomach ache
