My aunties and uncles were jealous of me and my siblings, why? Just because my aunty who was extremely rich was showering us with care. I could remember when she gave me and my siblings 50k to 100k each for shopping, this was around 2010 to 2011. I don't know, but I wasn't that expose about money though I was happy to go shopping, of course to get new things.
My other aunties started murmuring that she was pampering us. But the good lady did not care. There are times we would go shopping and come back then, little me will start feeling cheated, like the clothes we bought are not worth the money, there must be change remaining but hell no! Who am I to go and ask the lady who was in charge of our shopping. Each person's money will be given to her as the eldest. I can bet with my life that she was cheating. Hehe

But well, even if she was, do I really have anything tangible to do with the money? Silly me! I was so timid about money! Gosh! If only I was wise about money then, I would probably tell my auntie no to shopping and yes to investment. But my younger self wasn't... Cough! I wish I had wilder knowledge about money, I believe I would have been a millionaire if not a billionaire with my shopping money😂
You know what! I don't like talking about this particular thing because it boils me like hell! I mean, how can I be so covered to that limit. Well, I think at this junction, I will have to speak to my younger self to be wise at least
Dear Younger Self
Come close, give me your listening ears let's talk about money. Money is like a bird. When you have it and handle it well, it will stay but when you don't know the value of what you have at hand, you will lose it and trust me, it will be tough for you to get it back.
Dear Younger Self
Never forget this, Money is like a seed... cough... money, like I said, it is like a seed, when you plant it, it grows and of course produces more fruit but when you eat it all, bear in mind, you can't eat your seed and have it back.
Dear Younger Self
If you ever get the opportunity to be cared for, I mean in money, love and otherwise. Be wise about it, don't be too comfortable with it, don't think life starts and ends where you are. Don't be so myopic. Think beyond your presence situation, only then will you be able to grow.
This is my response to #LOH prompt;
