My Role Model - Day 9

in #hive-1244524 months ago

For day 9 of this challenge, I will be writing about "My role model", I missed yesterday's prompt because I had migraine and I was a bit unable about how my phone got spoilt and how it has been acting ever since I fixed it, well I am taking note of the topics I missed because o will be going back to them, so without further ado, let's talk about my role model

Let me tell you about a woman who has greatly inspired me. Her name is Aunty Ope, and I met her through my husband. This woman, I have to admit, is a true role model for me; she has taught me what it means to be a powerful woman.

First of all, Aunty Ope is no ordinary woman. She has a style that commands respect. When you see her, you know you're looking at a woman who understands life. She's not loud or brash, but she has this calm demeanor that makes people listen when she speaks.

Before meeting Aunty Ope, I had some naive views. I used to believe that a man should provide everything for a woman. That a woman's responsibility was to remain at home and wait for the guy to bring money. Oh, how mistaken I was!

But my eyes were opened when I got to know Aunty Ope. I learned from her that a woman is capable of managing her own affairs. She doesn't wait on others to fix her issues. She rolls up her sleeves and tackles whatever task that needs to be done..

Aunty Ope is a multi-talented individual. She is proficient in a variety of areas. Aunty Ope excels in everything, from cooking a delicious supper that makes you want to lick your fingers to sewing exquisite garments that make you look like a celebrity and handling complex business matters. It appears that everything she touches turns to gold.

However, I find it most impressive how Aunty Ope manages all of these abilities. She doesn't brag about it. She simply goes about her business, but it's obvious that she's really good at everything.

I also admire Aunty Ope for the way she manages to manage everything in her life. She manages her own business, works, has a husband and kids, and still finds time to volunteer in her church and community. I'm in awe of how she handles all of this.

And allow me to share with you a personal story about Aunty Ope. This woman is a giving person! She manages to share what she has with others even in situations when it seems like she doesn't have much. Even though the gestures may seem insignificant, what really counts is the motivation behind them.

I also admire how Aunty Ope handles life. She does not take life too seriously, unlike some people who are constantly stressed. She understands that life has its ups and downs, but she does not let it bother her too much. When challenges arise, she simply laughs them off and finds a solution no matter how hard things may be.

Even Aunty Ope's fashion sense is unique. She avoids wearing loud clothing or applying excessive makeup. She keeps things simple and lovely. When you see her, you realize you're looking at a woman with style, but she's not trying to brag.

I've learned a lot from Aunty Ope. She has shown me that a woman can be strong and independent while also being a caring wife and mother. She has shown me that it is possible to have numerous skills while remaining modest. She has taught me that giving does not need having a lot.

Sometimes I wonder what would have occurred if I had not met Aunty Ope. Maybe I'd still be locked in my old beliefs that only men should give. But now I know that a woman can pay for herself and even her family if she wants to.

Aunty Ope taught me that life isn't a competition. That everyone should simply do their best wherever they are. She always advises me, "My darling, do not compare yourself to others. Just concentrate on your own journey and make sure you're improving every day."

As I think about all these things I've learned from Aunty Ope, it makes me want to be a better person. I want to be the kind of woman that others will look at and say, "Wow! This woman is wise!" I want to be a woman who can stand on her own but still knows how to work well with others.

So, if you have someone like Aunty Ope in your life, be thankful! Such people are a blessing. They show us a better way to live life. They inspire us to be better versions of ourselves.

As for me, I'll continue to look up to Aunty Ope. I'll keep learning from how she lives her life. I'll try to be as calm and wise as she is. I'll try to develop my own skills as she has done. And most importantly, I'll try to be the kind of person who gives and inspires others, just as Aunty Ope does.

We celebrate people like Aunty Ope in our lives. They are the real role models we need in our society. They show us that with small efforts every day, we can become better people and make our world a better place.

An example of a woman to follow is your aunt, you are very lucky to have her around, she is undoubtedly an inspiration in your life @treasuree, Greetings.

She is a very good woman. I thank God for the day I met. Kinda changed alot about me

Your Aunty practically embodies Proverbs 31's 'Wife of Noble Character' vs 10-31

She would be amazing 🤩

She is indeed an inspiration to many. It's high time women realize that they need to be independent rather than depending on their husband for this or that. A woman who dwells on a man for her needs and wants would never gain respect from that man.
A woman has to be independent; be able to cater for her needs and make a significant support in her family.
Aunty Ope is a woman of virtue. To you and many, she is a treasure they were able to find.

Thank God for you dear. I am happy you get to meet someone like Aunty Ope in this lifetime.
