LOH #196 Mountains Over Oceans

This is going to be a big one for me, because time after time I've always proved myself to be a big lover of nature. I will always prefer to go see the oceans rage as an ideal date than sitting at a table in a restaurant over a plate of meals.

But considering that question at hand. And after weighing the two options. I think I will choose to live closer to the mountains because apart from the ocean they're another kind of nature I find fascinating.

They're just like giants sleeping on the surface of the earth. They are so huge, so tall, and so strong that they don't shake or wither away with the change in the atmosphere. Sometimes I wonder how they got there. I wonder if, during the creation of the world, they refused to move when land and the oceans were being separated.

Not just that, they're giant-looking structures positioned on the surface of the earth. They also have nature growing on them.

They have trees that whenever you breathe in, it's a breath of fresh carbon dioxide, so basically, you feel more alive.

They gave fresh water and cool breeze that comes with it unlike the salty breeze and waters of the ocean.

The mountains are home to wildlife.

Not to mention the peace and quiet that comes with it. Because you're far above the noise from the city, people, the cars. It's just you and the sound of rustling trees and waterfalls over rocks etc. You get to think clearly and at pace about life.

Now, the better part is standing at the top of the mountain, and you're feeling like a watchman overlooking the city and people, which become like tiny ants in your sight. The view from there becomes so breathtaking.

So in conclusion, for me, i go with mountains over oceans.

I lived a short time on the gentle slope of a 1200 ft mountain with numerous little creeks, well marked trails everywhere, deer, coyotes, rabbits, birds besides all the fir and cedar trees. If you're looking for majestic snow tipped mountains, British Columbia Canada is the place.
