Postcards from my entropic city for a friend Hiver on the other side of the Atlantic (Eng/Esp).

Hi friends of ecency! As always, it is a pleasure to write these lines to you as a daily blog. These last 30 days I have been enjoying my vacation and I want to enjoy it to the fullest because each semester is a sacrifice with the amount of obstacles that arise, well, the normal thing in any country in the Global South. So I try to do different things so that these days are not monotonous.

Getting into the subject I wanted to write these lines to answer my friend @foxkoit who I once showed a photograph of my city and he was struck by the fact that you could see the mountains and he was not wrong my entropic city rests in the valley of a mountain range that extends to the east of the country. The most notable hill in my chaotic city is Cerro Avila and taking advantage of the clear sky and the sun radiating like hell I was able to take photos of Cerro Avila.

I live in the Neotropics so the 4 seasons don't exist here, we only have 2 climatic seasons: dry season, the first 6 months of the year and rainy season the rest of the year. Therefore, before this season starts I decided to take these photos before the rainy season starts and everything is always cloudy.

Caracas at night/Caracas de noche

The sunset caught me on the street so I forgot to take a photo of the twilight but here I bring you a view of the city at night, it's a view towards the historic center of the city, there is a white monument in the background with an intense light on its top, that is the National Pantheon with its sacred flame burning perpetually.

Well, I hope you like these postcards of the City of Caracas and its wonderful Cerro Ávila. I took these photos with my Redmi 9c Cell Phone, I promise to improve the quality of the next photos, I will dust off an old Sony camera that I have somewhere and bring you soon that postcard of downtown Caracas at sunset. Best regards!

Saludos!

Thanx man that you let as see this city more and more... and it is nice to see in the pictures that you are also very close to these mountains, I am sure that going for a walk on them is not always easy there. Especially when there are heavy rains. 😇👍🤗

Cool city post. 👍

Hi Fox! That's right, my friend. Climbing this hill is quite a challenge. Its height is over 2,700 meters. One route that I like to take is the one that takes you to the city of La Guaira.
