Walls that once seemed bright and wide,
Today felt like a dull, gray tide.
No adventures called, no places to roam,
Just a day at home, feeling somewhat alone.
The clock ticked slow, the hours crawled by,
As I searched for excitement, but none caught my eye.
The world outside seemed far away,
As I stayed indoors, in a dull, gray day.
But even in dullness, peace can be found,
A chance to rest, and let the heart unwind.
So here I'll stay, and make the most of my day,
And hope that tomorrow brings a brighter way.
