Greetings my fellow Hivers! I hope you're doing exceedingly great.I'm greatful to God for his kindness and protection.I, also thank him for the grace he's been giving me all this while to write, I say may his name be praise in Jesus name amen.
I want to share with you the experience I had yesterday, and it wasn't a good one at that.I would love to caption it thus " Learn to control your anger
What I'm about sharing right now is something that has raise so maybe questions but no one seems to give an answer to it.
I went to my cousin's work place yesterday to see how far she has gone with her tailoring work.So when I went there, I was warmly received by her mistress.
She gave me snacks and I took it from her, and then, I thanked her later.
Few hours later, her apprentices arrived, and they started work immediately.Everything was going on smoothly, not until something tragic occurred.
One of her apprentice had a misunderstanding with the other apprentice, and it was a serious one at that.They exchanged words with each other, they even fought each other.
I tried separating them, and they stopped fighting.I address them personally, and they apologize to their mistress who happened to be my friend, and a long standing christian at that.
One thing I discovered about her was that , she was hot tempered.As a child of God,we must learn and also look for possible ways to prevent anger from taking over our lives.
Anger destroys long standing relationship, it could also hinder someone from some certain things which would have been a Blessing.
So when their mistress stood up, she chased the both of them out of her work place.I tried calming her down but it seems her anger had blocked her ears.
Her over reaction spoiled so many things.Those apprentices left her work place with so much sorrow in their heart.It was an act that touches my heart.
I felt sorry for those apprentices.As christians, we must exhibit behaviors that Jesus Christ exhibits when he was on earth.
I could still recall that Jesus Christ forgave his persecutors even when he was hung on the cross.Then if our Lord Jesus Christ whom we say we're following could do that, how much more us .
I wasn't myself anymore because the behavior alone scares me.
She went further to tell them that they should go and find another trade and learn so they could come back and pay their debts.
I pleaded with her to forgive them so they could continue with their work, but she insisted.I told her that had it been they had money, they would have paid their debts .I told her they won't have money to learn a new trade at the moment, and still have money to come and settle their debts, but her heart was already made up.
I saw that as an act of wickedness.Christians are not supposed to behave like that no matter what happened.The bible tells us that we should control our hearts when we're angry.It went further to say that, out of the heart the mouth speaketh.
She said so many things while she was annoyed.Even when she made those statements, she wasn't aware .She said those things out of anger, and by the time she realized that, it was already late.
In conclusion, please let's learn to control our anger so that we would not earn up loosing our reputations in the society.Honestly speaking, she loosed her reputation because of that sinful act.I can't defend her anywhere anymore.She scared me, and that helped me to know who she truly was. Please don't try to be who you're not, but try to be perfect in whatsoever thing you're doing.
Lastly, forgiveness is very crucial, and all christians must learn to forgive.Let's do away with anger .
