Good evening everyone, how are you people doing today? I'm so excited to have you here in this space.
It's been a while I posted in this community, and I want to cover up for the time I've missed.This evening, I would be talking on the topic renewing our minds.
What does it mean for someone to renew his or her mind?
Based on my own view, renewing our minds simply means changing or transforming our thoughts, beliefs as well as our attitudes in such a way that it aligns with the word of God.
Renewing our minds also entails forgetting or letting go of the old and bad things we were engaging ourselves in, and replacing it with the truth which has now become part of our lives.
Christianity, is beyond our various religion. But the most important aspect of Christianity, is that it would transform you instantly from who you used to be, to who God wants you to be.
Note that once an individual as given his or her life to Jesus, and has become born again , his or her spirit, is also transform not into someone else's image, but the devine image of God.
It's quite unfortunate that up till today people do not know who the spirit is to them.The spirit, is the part of you that carries the divine image of christ.
Once you notice that this spirit is in you, you as a person should start a good work with your life, by changing your soul, through the word of God.
Your soul, is that mind that is in you, and your spiritual growth, would only be activated by how much your soul is been change or transform by the word of God.
The more you get to know God, and also get acquinted with his word, the more you will be conform to the image of God.One thing you must understand is that once you become born again you're okay, automatically , nothing is wrong with you.
Always know that the spirit of God was already in you even before you accepted his salvation.The only thing that hinders you from seeing all these things was that your soul hindered you from living a spiritual life, as well as a purposeful life.
In Ephesians chapter 4:24 the Bible instructed us that since we've come to the knowledge of truth, we should try as much as possible to put away the old man , which is sin, and put on the image of God, which is righteousness.
We must always learn to act like God, as well as walking with him.But note that, you cannot walk with God, if your mind, is not renewed.
Renewal of the mind, is the only tool you need for your righteousness to be effective.
In conclusion, let's put away carnality, and take on a renewed mind so that God will make our cruchet ways to be straight.May he give us the strength to do his will in Jesus name amen.
