Getting more upvotes and Earning more with your blogs($4 minimum on my daily blogs ) - GETTING UPVOTED TUTORIAL 101

in #hive-1251252 years ago

Hi, guys! Krazorcen here, sharing what I learned in my research on getting more upvotes in your blogs and increasing your earnings. There are a lot of tutorials on how to start your hive account or how to create an excellent blog. However, I had a hard time searching for who can upvote you constantly and will have a high chance of getting an upvote. If you are a newbie this is for you and if you are already blogging and only getting minimal upvotes this is for you. It worked for me, and it might work for you.

How I am earning $4 minimum in my blogs.

1. ECENCY ($3.33 Daily)

@ecency can help you promote/boost your post via their website(ecency.com). You just need ecency points to be able to do that.
To learn more about ecency you can check the FAQ's on their website( here).

These are the steps on how to do it.

GETTING ECENCY POINTS

  • Using the website and being active(posting blog, comment, like/upvote) will give you points.
  • Buying them via HBD/SWAP.HIVE.

The minimum amount of Token you can buy is 1 HBD or HIVE. The amount of Ecency points you will receive will depend on the price of these tokens.

If you don't have any HIVE tokens or HBD tokens. You can watch @MrKStar youtube video tutorial[here] on how to buy Hive token and send it in the keychain.

  • Go to their website ecency.com.
  • Click the ecency points logo.
  • Make sure you have enough HBD/HIVE tokens.
  • Click the BUY POINTS button.
  • Choose how will you buy the points either HBD or HIVE.
  • Confirm payment.
BOOSTING/PROMOTING your blogs

A.) BOOSTING YOUR POST
Use your ecency points to get an upvote from ecency.
The minimum amount of points you can use to boost your blog is 150 which is equivalent to $1 and the maximum is 500 which will give you $3.33. So if you are buying points worth $1, it can be boosted to $3.3, which will give you a profit of $1.65.

  • go to ecency.com and log in.
  • click the gift logo, or go to ecency points.
  • Under the Ecency Points. Click the dropdown and choose Boost.
  • A new window will pop up. under the first form field, Enter the Username/hive name and it will
auto-populate the blogs/posts that username you entered. and choose 1 from there.
  • Select the amount that you want and click next. The minimum number of points per day, that you can use is 150 and the maximum is 500 points. And 500 points boost will give $3.3 so every day you can profit $1.65.
  • You need to confirm the transaction either via entering your keys (active/owner/master) or
via hivesigner or keychain then confirm.

B. PROMOTING - PROMOTING/ENDORSING your blogs, similar to how ads work. You will not be getting an upvote but ecency will promote your blogs on their website and app.

2. PGM ($0.392 Daily)

PGM is a Play Gamer Token. Created by @zottone444, you can also use it as a tag(#PGM) if the contents of your post are related to gaming.
@zottone444 also upvotes blogs, even if it's not related to gaming as long as you follow his guide here.

STEPS:

  • Buy a PGM token
  • Join the PGM discord group. This is the discord invite link [here]
  • Post the link of your blog in the upvote-post channel.
  • Send 2 PGM tokens to @pgm-curator and take a screenshot.
  • Send the proof/screenshot of the transaction to the vote-curator channel.

3. PISHIO ($0.3 Daily)

@pishio has a free upvote service. You can find the guidelines here.

Steps:

  • Go to their website here.
  • Paste the URL of your blog in the form field.
  • Click submit.

4. DROIDA ($0.1 Daily)

@droida is similar to pishio. You can find the guidelines here.

  • Visit their website here.
  • Paste the URL of your blog in the form field.
  • Click submit.

PARTICIPATING IN THE CHALLENGES AND COMPETITIONS.

I post blogs daily in the hive. But at some point, we will lose ideas, we won't know what to write or where to start. That's where these challenges and contests come, instead of thinking of a new idea that we can post. We can use that challenge as a topic and make a great blog about it. And if they liked it, we might win those challenges and get upvoted.

Splinterlands Challenges

First, you need to join their page/community, here. They have a weekly challenge that would help your hive account grow. You just need to participate in these challenges. However, before you can participate in their challenges, you need to play the game. And if you don't have an account yet, you can register here, and you can hit me up so I can help you progress in the game.

These are the challenges that @splinterlands upvotes.

Make sure to follow their page(https://peakd.com/@splinterlands/) to get the latest challenges. Maximize your earnings and join them.

RABONA END OF SEASON CHALLENGE

Similar to Splinterlands challenges. Rabona has its challenges. I am not familiar with this game yet. But planning to play it in the future. This is the link for the challenge(here).

Thanks to @theterminal discord group. I discovered these challenges.

POSTING YOUR BLOGS IN THE CORRECT COMMUNITY

Recently, I joined a webinar from the @hiveph discord and learned a lot about how curators curate blogs. Let me share with you what I learned.

There are a lot of excellent and good blogs being posted daily. However, it was posted in the wrong community or they did not post in a community at all, or the tags were incorrect.

Curators check your activity if you interact with others(upvotes, comments, and replies).

You need to post your blogs in the correct community or the first tag of the post should be in the community.

Examples

Peakmonsters

After playing splinterlands, you want to start growing your account. You can check the prices of the cards, transaction history, buying, selling, or renting of your splinterlands assets in peakmonsters. You can visit their website here: (peakmonsters.com).

Share your experience on using their website and post it on their page (here). @peakmonsters curates blogs that are related to them.

LeoFinance

  • If your post is about finances. You need to post your blogs here.

Hive Book Club

  • You love reading books and do you want to share your reviews? You can share it in the Hive Book Club community.

Foodies Bee Hive

  • Like eating food? or cooking food? Foodies Bee Hive is for you.

Pinmapple

  • You want to share your travel experiences and pictures plus earn money from that, share it on Pinmapple.

Thank you so much for explaining it to a noob like me, @indayclara.

EARNING TOKENS BY USING THE CORRECT TAGS

Did you know you can earn more than just Hive/HBD token by just using the correct tags?

There are a lot of blogs regarding this topic and a lot of groups have discussed this. @hivelist has an amazing explanation regarding how to use the correct tags. You can find his blog here.

This is also an awesome explanation from @theterminal discord group.

and lastly, you will get these tokens from @curation-cartel, if you use these tags and used them correctly.

OTHERS THAT YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW

DUSTBUNNY

Did you know that rewards below $0.020 are never actually paid out and get entirely erased on day seven? On this part, @dustbunny will come in place, he will be helping you with those dust. For further details, you can check dustbunny's post I'm Still Alive - Fluffing Up Dust on HIVE and Let's talk about Dust, and a Bunny, and briefly mention Kittens.

Credits to @theterminal, I learned this because of them.

LEO.VOTER

Occasionally @leo.voter will upvote your blogs, as long as the blog is posted from their website https://leofinance.io/, even if the topic is not related to finance. Again this is OCCASIONALLY and it is not 100%. Check their profile here.

This is my blog regarding my splinterlands battle challenge that was upvoted by Leo.finance here.

ARCANGE

Ever since I became a witness of @arcange, they upvote my blogs.

STEEMITBOARD

Similar to ARCANGE, since I became a witness of @steemitboard. They upvote my blogs too.

POSH

If you post your blogs and share them on Twitter and tag #POSH in your tweets, you will be getting POSH tokens. @acidyo created a guideline for more details. You can read it here. You will earn POSH tokens if you follow his guide. Make sure to read it.

FOR NEWBIES

If you are new to the hive and blogging, this is an excellent post (3 things Newbies should do in their first week on hive) from @livinguktaiwan.

These are also some of the compilations that @mozzie5 created to IMPROVE the QUALITY of your CONTENT.

The best advice for newbies is that you should join communities. I learned all of this by joining the communities.

These are my favorite communities that you should join.

@theterminal - Discord Link - https://discord.gg/XZGPGpz
@hiveph - Discord Link - https://discord.gg/YQVUBfyR6r
@oneup-cartel - Discord Link - https://discord.gg/4Shr4KhyKw

I have been joining and lurking in a lot of communities/discord channels just to get more upvotes and learn more tips and tricks to get a higher upvote count. There will be a lot of things that I have missed and if you share them in the comment it will be greatly appreciated.
The best way to get more upvotes and earn more in your blog post is by creating a quality blog, interacting with others, and increasing your connection. At the end of the day, they will be the ones upvoting your post.

Thanks to @indayclara for the amazing webinar about improving our blogs, importance of communities, and all about OCD programs.
And @theterminal the discord. I haven't been interacting with them, just reading their chats and I learned a lot. Make sure to join them, and ask them questions, as they are the gurus of the hive and they will have the answers.

Hey! Glad you were able to pick some new learnings from last weekend's seminar. Also, this is a comprehensive writeup. You've done your research so good job!

Thank you again. I will make sure to improve. Thanks!!

I'm very concerned that your posts focus on how to get upvotes from people rather than how to improve your content and engagement. Your mentality and approach is totally wrong and although I wasn't on the seminar I'm pretty sure that @indayclara didn't focus on telling you how to game the system for more upvotes

@tipu curate

Thank you bro

Thanks for this awesome summary of “Hive Strategies”!
Keep it awesome friend.

Thank you so much for reading the long post of mine @guruvaj. Really glad it helped! :)

Unfortunately you missed the most important ways to earn upvotes which are engagement and engagement.

Read other people's posts and make good, relevant comments and you'll build a network of supportive friends.

Much of your advice is simply gaming votes but that's only going to get you so far on Hive.

Best wishes and good luck :-)

Thank you for the feedback. I mentioned it in the last part but did not emphasize it, because most of the advice and tips that other bloggers made are regarding that topic.
I am very new in hive and blogging, and the topics that I usually blog about are related to gaming, that's why my knowledge is very limited.
I will broaden my knowledge and learn more.
Thank you again for pointing out the most important part of growing your account.

The problem when you're posting into a very specialist niche is it limits you. Open things up a little mate, have a look around, broaden your horizons and the. You won't need to rely on tiny autovotes and will be creating relationships which will surely pay dividends in the long term :-)

I 100% agree with you. The advice you are giving is the best long-term strategy to grow your account. However, it will take time for us newbies to be able to do that. That is the reason why I am focused on gaming-related content at the moment and once I made friends and build connections in this community, I will expand it further.
Again thank you so much @nathen007 for your amazing tips.

Thanks for this bro. Doing everything here as of now.

Glad it help bro.

Our Hive Power Delegations to the March PUM Winners
Feedback from the April 1st Hive Power Up Day
The fourth edition of Hive Power Up Month started today. Don't miss it!

Advice: Please don't vote for witnesses with the thinking that they will vote on your blogs. Witnesses are key players of Hive and should be selected for few votes.

Leaving my informative comment under an informative blog.

Do you know you can earn more crypto tokens by post? It's like multiplying your income. Although you must you them properly. For example, #leo #leofiance should be used only when blogging about finance.

Here are some general tags that you can use to earn those juicy tokens:
#pob
#vyb
#neoxian
#palnet
#pimp
#creativecoin (But use it wisely as it's for creativity like blogging or writing can be creative as well as photography)

If you still have confusion you can find me in discord! I hope this will help you in your hive journey.

Thank you for the advice. I am still new to hive, and getting feedback like this is valuable to me.
