"Model Citizen"

This time you will need to watch the animation with the sound in order to understand what is happening here. You can understand it without sound too but you might miss some details.

This is a well done critzisme of society i fell like it's more a critic about the world that could become or how it was in the 80's. Just get married, get a job, a kid, he move out, you die, the kid repeate the cycle.

The masks show how emotionless these people are, they don't live for themself just living in order to complete the purpose they got assigned at the start of there life. Once they got a kid they give him the same mission and once he move out they are sad not because the kid left but because they now there end is near.

Of course, those are only round figures.

I remember that video being shown in my government class years back when I was in college. It was honestly terrifying at the time but now is pretty spot on. An Anime with somewhat of a similar concept would be Gachaman Crowds, it’s just not made apparent until the Director’s Cut OVA for season 1 and the second half of season 2.

It’s not as dark as the ending of this and there’s no masks. The villain causes this kind of cycle (find that out very early on) but it’s not shown till much later exactly how he operates.

That's the cool part of these little animation short and shock, right

How’d you originally find this? Were you just looking around? There’s a lost animated film called “Doom Engine” that was made by a University student up in British Colombia for his final project that he uploaded on Youtube that I wish I could find now. It’s another one of these that this reminds me of

If you look at all my post I've been bloging a lot about these animations so now YouTube recommend me more of them.

Saddly, called the same way as a really famous game it's almost impossible to find.

It’s another one of these that this reminds me of
