Mi abuelo me conto su historia cuando tuvo que dejar nuestra ciudad para mejorar su futuro, y mientras relataba su experiencia no pude evitar ver la angustia que se veían en sus ojos; de su relato me quedo grabado cuanto extrañaba la ciudad y nuestras costumbres, sobre todo estos pequeños ¨rincones¨¨paradisiacos¨ que tenemos en nuestra costa

My grandfather told me his story when he had to leave our city to improve his future, and as he recounted his experience I couldn't help but see the anguish in his eyes; From his story I was left with an impression of how much he missed the city and our customs, especially these little "paradisiacal corners" that we have on our coast
Que haya dejado la ciudad no ha sido en vano, de hecho, si no lo hacía, no lo hubiera conocido a mi abuela, por ende, nosotros no existiríamos. Algo que grabo en mi memoria de todo su relato, es el momento en que decidió regresar a su tierra, y fue cuando comenzó a olvidar pequeños detalles de la ciudad, los nombres de las calles, determinados barrios, incluso el nombre de su música preferida, esa fue la señal que necesitaba para darse cuenta de que debía regresar para no perder la ¨identidad¨

Leaving the city has not been in vain, in fact, if I hadn't, I wouldn't have met my grandmother, therefore, we wouldn't exist.
