The biggest news and update to hit Hive in a long time is the recent update to Ecency. Not only was there the launch of the new Ecency Decks feature, but there was the new Ecency Waves short form Twitter like content stream, but the team also added to the Ecency Decks the possibility to interact with LeoThreads and DBuzz short form content.
This was a mind-blowing and massive launch from @good-karma and the Ecency team. Having tested the alpha of decks, it was great to now have a great social dashboard where we can overview everything we want to monitor on Ecency and Hive. Some of my favorites are my favorite communities and authors for example.
I actually now have a couple of decks setup in my browser because we can also now view all 3 short-form content feed streams. The new Ecency Waves plus Leo Threads and DBuzz. We can now post and interact with these streams within the great Ecency interface!
Here you can see the overview I have for all 3 streams. Using Hive has never been so much fun and easy.
Creating my first Ecency Wave was also nice, quick and easy too. After clicking the pen button and writing my first wave, it then gave me a notification of a new wave to view and once refreshed I could see it as you see above.
I was then checking my Blog and All Posts stream and was happy that these are not mixed with my short form content. Instead you can see it under the comments tab from the regular Ecency interface.
I then wrote my first Leo Thread from Ecency Decks. It is very easy to do by clicking the text where it says Ecency Waves and you can choose Waves, Leo Threads or DBuzz.
I then wrote my first DBuzz in Ecency Decks and checked in DBuzz and could see my Buzz show up nicely. Although when you Buzz with DBuzz or Ecency, it shows up in your All Posts tab which is something that I don't like, so do not use DBuzz for this reason. Luckily, you can also delete the posts and I managed to delete and remove it.
Overall, this is a massive update and will change the way we use Hive. It integrates the great Ecency interface with many new powerful functions and allows us to use short-form content more seemlessly.
