Seven years ago, I tried something new—a simple experiment to see if creators could come together, share, and connect.
I opened a voice channel on Discord, invited a handful of creators to share their posts, and hoped people would show up. They did—and Pimp Your Post Thursday (PYPT) was born.
Since October 2017, we've been curating content, sparking discussions, and building a space where creators from around the world get a voice.
There are several projects that have found their genesis during a PYPT or connections between people who were seeking help for an idea they had. Even more important, friendships have been formed that endure.
On October 10th at 12pm Eastern time, we’re marking our 7th Anniversary, and I’d love for you to join us.
This is no ordinary content curation show. PYPT is a relaxed, yet engaging space where posts come alive through community conversation. We don’t just share content—we discuss, we connect, we celebrate the creativity in every post presented.
To mark the occasion, every participant will receive a special commemorative graphic.
For Hive users, it’ll come as an NFT with a printable version; others will be able to download it. Hive is a blockchain-based social platform.

If you've ever been curious about PYPT, now is the perfect time to jump in! Here’s how you can get involved.
Just join the Dreemport Discord server and look for the #show-text-channel and #show-text-voice channels. Join them both. If you can’t find them, just tag me — @ShadowsPub and I’ll help guide you in.
The DreemPort curation project, founded by @dreemsteem, aligns with my own values on content and encouraging people to share and engage.
We use a voice channel for the show and a text channel running alongside it. I record the show and publish a recap with the recording and a list of all the shared content on Monday.
To take part during the show, you drop the PYPT emoji into the text chat to signal you’d like a turn.
When I call on you to take your turn, you just drop the link to the content you’re sharing into the text chat. If you’re comfortable using voice, you come on voice and give a brief introduction to the content.
If voice isn’t good for you, you’re welcome to drop the introduction with your link and I’ll read it onto the recording.
Whether you're a content creator on Hive, Medium, your own blog, or elsewhere, you are welcome. PYPT isn't about where we create our content, it’s about sharing and getting to know other creators.
PYPT has been about more than content; it’s all about community.
