Today's coin reveal post, or should I say return post is my first HIVE post in over five months. It feels so good to be back and writing again. The past five months have been a very challenging and stressful time which I will write more about and share with you in the weeks ahead.
I have truly missed takes photos of coins and writing about my life passions. Writing is such an enjoyable pastime that brings so my joy and peace to my soul. Before I took the five month break I was writing and posting very consistently, I aim to get back to that same regularity of posting, but it might take a few weeks to get back into the rhythm and routine.
My life has finally returned to a semi-level of normality, which has allowed me to return to the keyboard.
If there is one thing that I have learnt over this past five months, is just how important it is to keep your immediate family close and spend quality time together no matter what your current life circumstances are.
Fortunately I can say that this stressful and trying period has brought our little family closer together and helped us to develop a deep resilience that will hold us together for any future trials that life throws at us in the years ahead.
We have also learnt to be extremely grateful and to embrace all the little joys in life. As I mentioned above I will write a lot more about the past five months, but let's just say that living in a caravan for four months with three young children during a period of torrential rain really tests you as a person, as a husband and as a parent.
We survived the period in the caravan and now we are currently living in a furnished shed, which is absolute luxury in comparison. We expect to be here for another few months, before we finally get to move into our newly renovated home. 😀
Patience and perseverance are two character traits that my wife and I have had to develop over this period. At times we have done really well in these areas, but there have definitely been dark and testing times where we have just wanted to give up and throw in the towel.
We are parents of three beautiful girls, so giving up has not been an option that we have been able to entertain for long. Our responsibility and love as parents has been a deep driving force that's kept us going and allowed us to overcome any challenge before us.
This journey has a nice bright silver-lining waiting for us and that light is getting brighter each and every day. We know there are a lot more challenges ahead of us, but we have proven to ourselves and to our children that no challenge is too great for us as long as we stick together as a family unit.
Our new home is going to be our sanctuary and we look forward to all the amazing memories we will share together as a family. We will appreciate every single aspect of this home, because we have had to fight so very hard to make it a reality.
That reality is only a few short months away now!!! 🏡👪❤️
