Hi there everyone, amongst the friends I've made, I like Taskmaster because of his experience and opinions on Crypto.
Inspired by his blog today on Web3 I wanted to share my opinions on the subject.
I’ve been really diving into Web 3.0 lately and I think we’re missing the big picture. It’s not just about fancy tech as some may believe, it’s about so much more.
I’m talking about work in the future. With technology advancing as quickly as it is now many jobs are going to be done by computers or robots. This is going to create a lot of issues for everyone involved.
The government should step in some say. They want income redistribution and robot taxes but let’s face it that won’t solve anything.
We’re looking at a world issue and it is not going to be solved singlehandedly by any government. As a matter of fact, some of the things they’re suggesting could just exacerbate the situation.
However, we cannot stay idle. We must begin considering our approach towards solving this problem before we run out of time.
This is where Web 3.0 comes in. The concept is not only about creating fun apps or earning profits through cryptocurrency but rather figuring out tangible answers for the obstacles that lie ahead of us in future.
We must begin considering things like a universal basic income and retraining schemes for those who lose their jobs to machines. And we must start thinking about these ideas at once.
This is because the reality is that tomorrow is on its way whether we’re prepared or not, and if we are not proactive now then many individuals will be left behind.
Therefore let us put aside our concerns about Lamborghinis and trips to the moon, and instead concentrate our thoughts on creating a future that benefits all people.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to read my post; please leave any comments below.
