Busy Bees Redfish Support Lessons and Encouragement! - Have you posted? What could be better?

Hello everyone reading this post! I hope this reaches the Redfish of the Busy Bees Community.

Like I said in my last Lessons and Encouragement post, it is important to Post another one!

When you are a Redfish, you have few supporters and you are in a large multitude of young accounts who want attention from larger accounts which is then essential for your growth.

You will NOT just get loads of votes for nothing and you won't automatically be picked up for large amounts of effort initially.

Therefore, it is IMPORTANT not to waste your energy on overly long posts with too much effort spent when you don't even have an audience or a following.

The good news is that should you persist, carve your way from Redfish to Minnow status, that things will start getting better/easier. But more about that in another post.

I said above not to overdo your effort and reap little reward. However, I am not saying that you should post rubbish.

You should also start learning some Posting conventions that will make your post do better! These tips are things that don't usually need you to do very much extra but totally enhance the performance of your posts!

Let's get into it!

How to make your posts better/Things you should do at any level!

These tips are not in any sort of order and they might be things you already know or things I have already told you about.

Reblog your own content!

The Re-blog function is to Share a post with your followers. It then appears on your Blog. Your Blog is the first thing that someone sees when they click on your name.

So if they see your name in a comment or on another post, this is where they will land:

I am using @wallay here as an example but many of the Busy Bees on this group are not doing this!

Reblogging is like saying: I think this is a good post.

Do you not think that your post is interesting? You should! You WANT more people to see it. If you use Ecency like me, the option on the Advanced tab gives you the ability to automatically reblog the post:

Read what it says there "Auto share content to your blog". So by posting and not sharing, you are confining your post to your username's posts section and reducing the visibility of the post!

Tags, Tags, Tags!

When you post on a community, there is 1 tag automatically added. The post allows you to add 9 more tags for a total of 10.

Always use 10 tags.

Always...

This instruction cannot be more simple than that.

Tagging equals visibility - for free! Even if you cannot think of a tag, then use whatever words are appropriate for your post or synonyms for the other tags.

Cover Photo and titles

Another easy win for a blogger is to make sure that their cover photo and the thumbnail that goes with it is clear and you can see what is going on in the photo.

The title should also be something that makes it clear what is going on in the post.

Together, they need to entice the reader to click on the post and have a read!

Final Thoughts

I would like to see the Busy Bee Redfish to do this more and have better success on Hive. May you all become Minnows this year!

BTW, if you are a blogger that is reading this and would like to join the Busy Bees, I am looking for active bloggers who are serious about growing their accounts on Hive in the long run!

Thank you for reading this post!

Cheers!
