The last day of June is also the last day of my 1-week vacation. It was the most lazy and boring vacatiin ever but for the first time, it was what I badly needed.
However, the lack of plans does not mean that I sit around. 😉😊
Growing flowers
I had a birthday month ago, and for the first time in my life, I received flowers by delivery, not given me in person. These were flowers from my daughter. Along with the bouquet was a greeting card, a fertilizer to extend the life of the bouquet, care instructions, business card of the company ... You know.
And there was also a small square piece of cardboard, which I did not pay attention to. When I was cleaning I finally read the text on it: "I am a flower paper. Plant me and don't forget to water, and a flower will grow out if me". Funny. I didn't throw it away, but did not plant.
So, on the first free day I finally planted my flower paper. I photograph it regularly, and we will see what will come out of it soon.
Shopping
At last, I was able to make myself buy some cloth and shoes.
Typically, I don't like shopping, because don't like how cloth fit on me, or hate myself in general. But on the second day of vacation, my mind was peaceful and kind just enough for making a purchase.
Sunbathing
I miss the sea so much.... I dream of it sometimes, and this is of of my main reason why I feel like going to HiveFest this year. But who know how the situation turns out?
But, better an egg today than a hen tomorrow, said I to myself and went to the beach on the banks of the Dnipro river.
It was Wednesday, a working day, so the beach wasn't as crowded and noisy as usual. Besides, the day was not yet so extremelly hot, even a bit windy, so I spent a wonderful time reading my thick book.
The beach is on the large island within the city connected to the quay with a pedestrian bridge. It tooks about 15 minutes to walk from the nearest subway station.
In addition, I discovered a new nice and long walking path, watched a few movies, finished replacing of the window in the kitchen (my role was supervising) and spent time with my hubby before he leaving.
Tomorrow Ukraine will be the hottest spot in all Europe. 😳🔥🔥🔥 And my return to work. The only good thing about it is that the office has air conditioner and no power outage. Also, subway is the best type of transport during such heat. It is a relief to feel the cool and air movement even if complete calm is on the ground.
If it is also hot where you are, I am sorry. But if it is nice and cool, I am jealous 😊🙂
