Hello hello friends of #mundoautismo, I am pleased to greet you and very happy to have achieved this community, I think it currently handles a very important dynamic and theme, in which many of us have thousands of experiences and anecdotes to share, in the same way I consider that it is a space that will allow us to share with other people who go through our situation and will allow us to learn from each other.
I must honestly admit that I knew absolutely nothing about autism until my older sister had her second child. This was the first experience with autism in the family, which is why the fear of not knowing what we were facing had us with thousands of sensations that we could not handle.
Through his growth, he was showing signs that led to carrying out the pertinent studies, which resulted in what an autistic child is, at first it was hard, we had to learn, investigate and learn as we went.
After a few years another nephew was born by my other sister, we already knew from the previous experience and in the same way he was diagnosed with autism, currently I have two beautiful nephews who have taught me too many things, from learning to listen with the heart and not with your ears, appreciate those hugs and those kisses with all your heart.
They are two totally different worlds and the anecdotes with them have been innumerable.
José Ángel, the eldest of my nephews, has impressive strength. He loves to play with flexible objects that he can bend. The clothes hooks in the house had to be hidden since he placed them completely straight.
His diet has been quite strong and we have tried to follow it to the letter but when he arrived at my parents' house we had to run and hide absolutely everything since he would come to the kitchen and carefully when we were unprepared he would go and take what caught his attention and he ate it, sweets and cookies, which made us be super aware of him and remove those temptations around him.
He is a very loving child, he likes to be hugged, he gives you little kisses and if he is sad he takes you by the hand to calm him down, sometimes he even wants to be carried but he is already too big and I cannot handle him and I must say that he love to run
On the other hand, my youngest nephew, Deivys, is a quiet child but he doesn't really like displays of affection, he's a little more closed in that aspect, he loves playing with blocks and puzzles, the truth is, when he sees you doing something that appeals to him he stares and tries to do it.
He gets very angry when they are scolded because he understands perfectly when he is doing something wrong, and as I mentioned before, they are two totally different worlds, Deivys is calmer, let's say that he closes himself in his games and José, on the other hand, is more affectionate.
My nephews have taught me to love unconditionally, and to admire my sisters, it is not easy, but their dedication to the well-being of their children is gigantic.
I really want to thank @nanyuris, and the community in general for giving us this space to share our experiences! I want to invite @eumelysm and @lirvic to join this dynamic!
It has been a pleasure to participate! Until a next opportunity!💙
