Imagine that you are a being of light, and then imagine that all of a sudden, while your family and close ones are watching, you somehow start flying to the sky and disappear among the stars. What would these people around you feel about that?
Some of them would cry, others would stare in vain, in desperation, but one thing is for sure: the only thing making them feel like that is attachment. Attachment towards your physical form, to your voice, your thoughts, your tenderness, the memories they had with you, and so on and so forth.
Otherwise, they would feel nothing. Millions of people are probably dying every day, but none moves us unless it's close to us; millions of animals are sacrificed around the world to feed us, but we don't care.
We do care to bury our beloved dog that stayed with us for years and years in a row, somehow ending up becoming family, if we may put it that way. By no means do I plan on making anyone believe that love=attachment, but much of our suffering in this world is related to such ties.
We get too tied to relationships, jobs, colleagues, places, cultures, even god damn auto vehicles. It's funny seeing how some of us treat their cars better than they do their own bodies. I've seen quite plenty of these.
Folks who don't give much shit about what they eat and how they feel, but who are washing their cars and maintaining them religiously. At the end of the spectrum, we have the narcissists who are willing to inject themselves with steroids just to maintain their muscular physique.
We, the crypto guys, marry our bags sometimes, when in reality, it's all magic internet money. Not everything is an illusion. Love does exist, kindness is real, self-sacrifice is worth the pain, but attachment often poisons everything when it gets too strong.
Love knows that you have to let go, but attachment cries for that very thing or person love is willing to let go. I've seen on quite a few occasions people that are not drinking from this poison, and they seem to live so freely.
Always embracing the moment and accepting what's coming without requests and pain, whenever what they might request vanishes away. The so-called elites of this world know that we get attached easily, and that's why they leverage that on us so frequently.
Humans are so easy to get addicted to almost anything, and that makes them so controllable. Easily controllable... Have a great Monday, everyone, and see you all next time.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
