After more than a year of my daily posting and constant presence on Hive, I slacked off yesterday.
The lack of time due to a very large number of obligations during the day (when I didn't even have time for a decent coffee break at work, just because of the accumulated obligations due to the missed day on Friday), confirmed what I had known for a long time.
Time is a limited and very valuable resource
This is confirmed to me by every grain of sand that falls into the bottom of this hourglass that has an interval of 10 minutes...
But it was not only the lack of time that affected my failure yesterday and the interruption of that streak that lasted for more than a year.
It is also about what I promised myself at the beginning of the year.
Although my daily presence with writing posts on Hive was and still is very interesting, I still wanted to break that continuous streak, remove from myself the obligation that it must be every day, without exception.
And so, on one skipped day, I took that burden off me.
You think I wasn't there yesterday?
Oh no, you're wrong.
As I mentioned above, in the promise I made, the time I will not use for writing posts, I will use for reading your posts, watching your videos, writing comments or replying to your comments.
As I did yesterday 🙂
I will devote that time to engaging in other areas of the Hive world.
Maybe I will continue my daily presence with my posts, but I know that it will not be a burden for me, that I will not place that activity in the "You have to do" part of the activity, but I will transfer it to the "You want to do" part of the activity, and thus, my socializing in the Hive world becomes what I love to do, not what I have to do.
I hope that you, in accordance with the time you have, have made the same balance and that you are here at Hive, because you like to be there and not because you have to be there.
