I have been in the confectionary / Baking industry for quiet a long time now to really understands what it takes to actually begin working on a products carefully following on recipes from one step to another till completion and then there it goes, the customer gets what he or she wanted the way they want it, and in less than 5-10 minutes all that is gone, this are products that could take up to thirty to fourty-five minutes to prepare.
This not to talk of other industries say film-making, construction, automobiles, engineering etc.....the process of bringing every tiny pieces together to create a whole stuff most times is not really appreciated, cause people don't understand what work, weeks, months and years of sacrifice that went into making the finished products a reality, let's focus on the film making thing, i read a back drop of Movie that took almost Five years to make, from scripting to final production, not to talk of writing a book, the truth is do people really understand the true value and worth of what they are consuming? Is it money worth?.
Let me bring it down to us humans i will give a heads up here about a post i will make later on this
Last year or there about Mercy Chinwo, one of Nigeria's gospel singer got married in a grand style, she was my childhood friend but mercy didn't just get to were she is now by guess work, or playing around with whatever comes her way, she found purpose and pursue it with all her might....now i had to bring that in cause when mercy broke into stardom through a musical comletition in Nigeria which she was the over all winner, everyone was happy about it, but i knew years of sacrifice that went into who she has become Today.
There are lots of other similar stories of great folks out there, but thats not my point.
My point is, it will actually take you years to keep grooming yourself into who you always want to be, you could failed, made mistake, frustrated, laughed at, mocked, no one could regard you, but you've got to keep building yourself up when the timing is right, the world will come to your doors step thats when your true value and worth will be much appreciated.
It doesn't really matter how many years has gone bye, if you don't give up yet when your timing is right and perfect all those years that seem wasted will turn out to be of high value, before now no body knew who mercy was but when she broke out the entire internet, bloggers, social media went viral on her, they now starts going back in timing to finding out who she was, background, family etc, her worth is now more appreciated cause she had spend time investing in her self, building up till the timing is right..
Conclusion
People only appreciates the finish product they really don't care what went into production, most people have very little knowledge of what went in, the real and actual value is on the finish product. Most people feel unappreciated now, despite their hard work and commitment, however when the right timing is come, you will be duely appreciated respected and valued....
