Mansplaining ...

Being in positions of power makes you sick, and once you get sick there's no going back.

It is like a fatigue and like drugs, every time the mind asks for more it is more and more... Without seeing the damage that you are causing around you and much less the damage that we cause to ourselves.

Unfortunately some or most of the sick by proxy realize this truth when they are dying when it is already too late.

Human behavior lies in its complexity and adaptability. Every decision, emotion, and every interaction are like pieces of a puzzle that is put together in a unique way in each person.

Is the way we perceive the world deeply influenced by our experiences and beliefs? This is the reason why two people can live the same situation and react in totally different ways.

For example:

Yesterday I went to the gym of the Building where I live for a while, a girl came to train weights, she was wearing her headphones and started her routine. At that moment a guy talks to her (even though she was wearing hearing aids and they were not small🙄), she was polite and followed her routine, but the young man insisted on talking....it was like that for almost 15 minutes... the lid of the jar, was that I wanted to then point out the correct way to do weightlifting...,

👇

In a very polite way, the girl thanks him but continues in her routine, she never lent herself to socializing, it was obvious that she did not want that...she was going to train.

The young man insisted almost 8 times in 15 minutes 😖, me watching from the treadmill that was almost in front of her, I applauded the girl for her calm attitude to such corrosive behavior and having a sick power to the boy, to know more than her. In the end she withdrew from the place, before that siege....now they call it "mansplaining"... I saw bullying and very toxic, by the way.

The basic principle is that if someone has their hearing aids on, especially those that cover the entire ear, it's because they're not interested in talking to anyone. They go to what they go to, to exercise. And stop fucking around.

That is, I spent those 15 minutes watching the whole process, which even told me the times, that the boy, surely getting in the way on some device, and incidentally harassed the girl. The gym is going to train even if there is free air, it is NOT going to flirt, or get in the way, or show power in knowledge, like the type of my story; unless one hires a personal trainer.

I am an older adult....as I don't like to be corrected either unless the technique is very obvious and wrong...I never like to correct others...so be it my brothers... And as I train in an outdoor gym...there are girls who train alone...sometimes without technique, there is no instructor, and if they wear those headphones, it is so that no one bothers them...because if one tells them or signals to them that it is wrong....you might look like a stalker....so they just fuck themselves...🙃

It should be universal law that you are not interrupted in the middle of series or talked to when you have headphones on. Who in their right mind is going to flirt at a gym?

Sometimes it makes you want to carry a sign that says“ "Please keep your distance if you see me with headphones.”

Exploring and understanding helps us to connect better with others and grow personally.

In gyms, there are even women who have had a bad time because of touching, and the saddest thing is that many decided not to return to that place. I understand that there are men who are attentive and help you, and ready they are thanked, but this was not the case, and it was true, and judging by the reactions it can be the daily bread for many of us.

To those who call me a gossip, well yes, these situations deserve to be exposed, the truth I could extend more, for example, there were other men in the enclosure quite annoying....👇

I've always said it: "You go to the gym to train, not to socialize." Anyone who thinks otherwise, go to a club. Definitely, the power of "know-it-all" sickens. Right?
