Who Really Controls Our Identities and Realities?

Hey there! Have you ever stopped to think about who(could be anything or anyone-maybe you) really controls our identities and realities? It's a thought-provoking question that I've been pondering lately.

In today's world, it seems like we're more attached to what's not real than to what is. We often let ourselves be controlled instead of being in control of our own lives. We have remote controls for almost everything, but what about controlling our own lives?

If a life remote controller exist would you buy one?

some do or think they do

But how?

maybe some henny shots could- I heard it takes our pains away ~my henny friend

I have a friend who used to be an addict(and still is, but I'm not 100% sure because i've distanced myself from henny friends). He was addicted to being in control of his life, but that control came in the form of drinking shots of liquor. He believed that liquor shots were the controller he needed to manage his pain and relieve him of his childhood traumas. However, he underestimated the impact that those shots were having on his life, and it landed him in some embarrassing situations. He was trying to control the uncertainty of life, but the truth is, we can never fully control what happens after we take a shot.

The reality is that we can't always have everything under our control. We need to learn to accept the things we can't control and focus on what we can.

We need to experience life, rather than trying to control it - which often leads to losing more control or sometimes be addicted to wanting to be in control.

Writing and reading on Hive is a great example of this. We can control our own actions in writing and reading, but we can't control who upvotes or downvotes our content. We need to accept that and focus on the joy of creating and sharing our thoughts and ideas.

Many people view Hive as only a reward platform, missing out on its free speech benefits. However, when their content gets removed from YouTube for no reason, they begin to see Hive's value in allowing for unrestricted expression. Additionally, the absence of algorithms on Hive enables users to grow organically and connect with others in a more authentic way.

Although we are aware we cannot control the number of people who engage with our content, we still desire a large audience. Our focus should be on what we can control, which is creating high-quality content. Whether or not individuals choose to read and comment on our content is entirely up to them.

When we try to control everything around us, we ultimately lose control. It's only when we let go of the need for control that we can truly gain it. We need to embrace uncertainty and accept that life is unpredictable.

So, who is in control of our identities and realities? It's a complex question with no easy answer. But one thing is for sure: we can only control our own actions and reactions. We need to focus on experiencing life, rather than trying to control it.

What area in your life do you think you can control but later realized its totally out of your control. It could be anything or anyone. Like I tried to warn my friend thinking that i can control his actions but later realized I can't and I didnt mention it in the post so you know that its totally out of your control - I'm in control here lol

But let me know about your experience too or not. I cant control that but I'll appreciate it If you do.
Thanks
Until next time
