We have been living the beginning of a very complicated decade worldwide, the pandemic, the wars and the great threat of the beginning of the 3rd and last world war can be for some or at least for me, situations that make us reflect. On social networks you see everything, memes, mockery and alarmists, but honestly the threats are clear, we are at the mercy of the decisions of a few people.
Today when I was riding my bike I was thinking about all the above and for a moment I thought about the worst scenario, many things went through my mind, and also all those war movies and the cruelty of wars, nobody wants to live something like that. The fact is that while I was riding my bike, thinking and reflecting, a car crossed my path, taking away from me everything that drives the world crazy, violence.
After those couple of insults and challenging looks, I continued on my way, and I realized that at that moment I was part of the problem and not the solution, I was part of everything that a few minutes ago I could feel afraid of. I could just continue, listen and ignore, apologize even though it was not my fault or let people know that everything was fine, but I reacted in the worst way.
Even though many situations and decisions do not depend on us, I believe that the changes and harmony of our environment must begin with ourselves, we must try to infect others with our energy, and it is possible that being people with whom we infect ourselves, good things can infect others and continue with the chain.
We cannot escape the reality in which we live, we cannot close our eyes and escape, nor ignore threats, but we can try to keep bad things away, all the negative things and thus try to live better, in peace, in harmony and safely, with good health. Everything we can do for ourselves and for others contributes and adds to a better world.
We must and we can, we just need to live in peace.
