Livefree Lifestyle : Earn-Spend-Live

in #hive-126152last year

When it comes to living life happily a common man alwsys tend to save a little from its income to meet any kind of contengencies. They do not want anything to destroy their happiness. That is why would alwsys find Saving forms a very integrsl part in everyone life. Even if a person earning less they tend to save a little or whatever they can. Their main intention of saving was to spend it at times of emergency or celebrating any important event. This is a common logic everywhere, around the world. People are concerned about the future uncertainties and make their provision accordingly.

However all this theory proves wrong when it comes to village people. Hardly any of them have the tendency to save. They earn only to spend. All the money management theories stand failed in their lifestyle

Earning.

Gone are the day, when people at villages are restricted to farming. Now they came out of their comfort zone and seen the outside world. The villages youth are working at differnrt Indian cities. They fo not have a permanent job, but they know how to earn or derive their income. These youths works as labourers / mason/ restaurants boy / auto driver / electrician / security guards or anything they are comfortable with. They keep changing job only to earn money in any way. For sure legally. Their USP are their dedication and hard work. Apart of few hardly anyone does anything wrong in process of earning money. I know a guy from my village, who is an electrician, also drives auto and also worked as mason. So they never fell sort of work.
They work round the clock in cities only to make money.

Spending

Whatever these people earn are not spent on themselves. Their lifestyle in cities are full of misery. They take sharing accommodation onlybto spend night and again goes back tontheir respective work or they work at night and sleep in days. Their spending habit are completelly different. They spend their earning only at their own home, where they belongs too. There was a guy in my village, who was out for work since last 5 months. He managed a good earning. As soon as he landed in village he started construction / repairing of his home. He did all the saving in cities only to spend at home or to the family.

Living

What I noticed so far, that these people are not worried about saving. Their simple Pholosophy in life is to live happily with their family They spend whatever they earn in differrnt way. They are not worried of any kind of future emergency. They are the one who belive in theory of living in present, than worrying about future. These people comes back to their home twice in a year lives for a month with their family. Spend whatever they brought along and again move on towards the city to earn. Ir appears to live a complicated life yet they were enjoying it fully.

Saving??

They earn, they spend, and they live. But what about the saving? Or meeting emergency or contengencies. As said before these people are not worried about future. They know that at time of emergency they can manage the necessary fund from borrowing and repay off after few months. Rather than approaching the bank or financial institution they prefer the local borrowing.

There was guy who took a loan of $2000 from me for his daughter marriage in the month of June. And he returned 50% of the amount today. And promised to repay the balance by March, when he make the second visot during Holi festival.

You can expect a good amount of sincerity from these poor people. But not all of them are good and you need to be watchful before lending money.

Lifestyle

You can not find such lifestyle in cities where everyone can be seen worried and panicked thinking of the future. These people too know the city lifestyle but they have limited themselves with their requirement. They are focused in bringing smile and happiness to the family members, without much bothering about future.

These people remain away from their home for few month, make good earning with whatever way possible. Comes back to home at any festival (especially dusshera & holi) spend everything in differrnt ways spend quality time with their family and then again goes back to earn more. Only to spend again.

They live a completelly differrnt lifestyle with what other people have, but they enjoy life completelly. What you think of this lifestyle. Are they doing anything wrong? Or missing out on savings benefit?

Peace!!

So true, Indian villages are perfect example of a stable community. There goal is to support each and grow at a pace. With very minimal dependencies on the external entities like banks and financial institution ..

Their focus is more on earning and growing. Saving and emergency funds are good things but is for an individual.

Very nice post. ❤️☮️

@untilwelearn aapke vichar iss vishay par. Matlab Indian villages community ke iss approach par.

Sabse pahle toh deri ke liye maafi @inuke . Diwali week ki bhagam bhag bahot thi aur mujhe iska jawaab thoda thik se dena tha.

Okay, toh dekho dost iss vishay par mere vichar thode alag hain. Ye sab sach aur somehow inspiring hai ki unka zindagi jeene aur khane peene ka tarika humse bahot better hai. Par ye savings aur money management ka jo point hai na yahan main thoda asehmat hoon. Na sirf apni pahle se bani huyi kisi vichardhara ke adhar par balki aise kayi logo ke sath mere apne anubhavon ke adhar par main ye keh sakta hoon ki unka paise ko istemaal karne ka tarika inspiring nahi balki financial mismanagement ko darshata hai jiska mukhya kaaran lack of education hai.

Wo savings nahi karte Kyunki Unhe Wo Aata Hi Nahi Hai.. Har kisi se puchh bhi nahi sakte kyunki aam taur par log buri salaah hee dete hain. Phir bhi unme se kuch post office mein ya ghar mein kahin thoda thoda karke save karte hain apne acche-bure waqt ke liye.
Humari maid ne meri wife se gyan lekar 5 saal mein 100 square yard ka land le liya. Uske 2 bete aur 1 beti hai aur ab jab unki shadiyon aur future ke baare mein sochti hai toh iss thoda-thoda karke save kiye paiso se liye plot se jo sense of security, safety confidence, aur happiness feel hoti hai uska koi comparison nahi hai.

Toh lack of education ki wajah se financial mismanagement ek problem hai. Par unka zindagi jeene ka taarika no doubt bahot badhiya hota hai. humse kam kamakar bhi wo jyada khush aur na ke barabar stressed rehte hain.

Arey bhai saal mein ek baari aati hain uske liye to time nikalna banta hain..

Happy Diwali to you and family.

Jab aapne baat education ki kar hi di hain to mein bhi add karna chahta hun. Waise in my opinion, financial education to Hume bhi nahi di jaati. Jahan Tak mujhe yaad hain school mein bas ek chapter tha Jo tax par dealing karti thi, aur savings ke naam par sirf banks bol dete the. Arey mujhe to abhi kuch hi dino pahle pata chala current and savings mein difference unke benefits aur limitations woh bhi tab jab mein Bank walon se poocha.

Phir gaon ke logon ko kya hi bol sakte hain. Lack of education is everywhere and on all levels.

But baat aapne sahi kahi hain, Kam paise mein bhi khus rahte hain wahan ke log. ❤️☮️

PS : Bhai mein to investment ke chapters bhaut deeply padhe Jaa Raha hun. Hopefully mujh me bhi thodi se Gyan aa jaye.
Aapki Bahut help lagegi. 🙏

Same to you bro :)

Haan ye sahi hai ki wo proper financial education kisi ko nahi milti unless aap khud uss subject par alag se study na karo. Lekin yaar hum log jinhone apna basic school collage toh complete kiya he hai humare liye still un sab points ko samajhna un gaon ke bahot kam padhe logon ke comparison mein easy hee hota hai. Ab wo bank wale in logon ke sawalon ke thik se jawaab tak nahi dete toh kuch naya seekhna inke liye aur mushkil ho jata hai.
Par point wahi hai ki savings nahi karte kyunki na saving karna aata hai aur na he uske fayede pata hain isliye acche-bure waqt mein paise maangne padte hain. warna socho naa paise maangkar kaam karna kisko pasand hota hai.

PS: Padhayi kabhi zayaa nahi jaati dost :) padhte raho gyan bhi aayega aur phir uske pichhe pichhe notes ki ganga bhi :D

This is such a good read from different perspectives of saving. For me, it is best to have a passive income (for emergency or important purposes), just like the majorities said "work smart, not work hard".

that is one way doing things right away...but that theory is for us....the people at village is not worried if to earn smartly. they know only hard workand rest everything to fate.

Ah you have the point there, they need people to educate them and practice on working smart

Eat, drink, and be merry. For tomorrow may never come.

Could it be that this is the mentality in play here?

Sort of...they save only to enjoy and meeting household requirement...
