Life is full of ups and downs, as well as many unforeseen circumstances. There are times when someone might feel like giving up and stop trying altogether. We all know that life is not a bed of roses, and there are situations and conditions beyond our control as humans.
Some things happen that we can not explain. Not even science may be able to provide answers to them. I have a series of questions I haven't been able to answer: Why are we even here in the first place? What is the purpose of our existence? Is it simply to procreate, or is it to do good things in life? Why do bad things happen? Why is it so difficult for the world to have peace? Why do terrible events occur? Should we attribute these things to signs of the end times? What about those who do not believe in God's existence? Where have we, as humans, gone wrong? Why are human hearts filled with evil and wicked deeds? Why can't we live in peace with one another? Why must we kill one another just to prove a point or to demonstrate superiority over the rest of the world?
If we look around, we will see that many terrible things are happening—things that, when you hear about them, make you wonder if we are even human at all. What differentiates us from other animals? I believe we are human because we can distinguish good from evil, think critically, and be creative.
The sad reality is that there is no single day when something bad does not happen. For instance, there was a time we heard about wildfires in the USA. Who would have imagined that even the mighty USA couldn't foresee such disasters? How about people in this part of the world who kill for money? Many engage in rituals in the name of getting rich. I think if we humans truly considered the day we would cease to exist, it would change our orientation and perspective on life.
With all the wealth and riches in the world, none of us is getting out of here alive.
Another interesting thing is that we, as humans, don't really need much to survive. However, due to our greed and selfishness, we want to hoard everything for ourselves—especially in this part of the world, where we value money more than human life and place money above humanity. We seem to have forgotten that without humanity, money would be meaningless.
We all need to reflect. Many of us justify our bad actions with various excuses. But where are our morals if society is at the mercy of our policies and behaviour?
