Good Morning Hivesters,
Trying out a new, currently free, Tipping Service I came across on a website called Tipstrr.
The tipster goes by the name of Football Mania, and as the name suggests is focused on Football bets.
Today's first bet placed using this service is a four-fold acca in the Goals Over/Under market, specifically OVER 2.5 Goals, featuring games from tonight's (Tuesday 8th August) EFL Cup First Round (aka The Carabao Cup) schedule. This competition is open to all 92 clubs in the top four tiers of the English league structure, although the first round does not feature any teams from The Premier League (they typically join in the second round, unless involved in European competitions whereby they will enter in the third round).
So onto the actual bet for today:
As I mentioned above it's a four-fold acca, so every result has to be successful to have a winning bet, and the four games advised for this bet are:
Exeter City scored three goals in winning their opening League One fixture away from home last weekend, whilst Crawley Town from a division lower in League Two managed one in their opening home fixture.
Another League One - League Two match up for the second leg of the acca.Barnsley and Tranmere Rovers combined for eight goals in their respective games, with Barnsley thumping seven past their opening day opponents.
The third leg sees a third game with teams from League One and League Two. Barrow came out on top against Tranmere with a 2-1 scorline, while Bolton Wanderers netted three times to get their season off to a good start.
The final leg sees Championship side Southampton take on Gillingham from League Two. Saints opened their account with a late winner to nab a 2-1 away win, with Gillingham, also leaving it take to take the spoils 1-0.
As all the teams have managed to score goals in their opening fixture, it seem reasonable to consider they will achieve more goals between them tonight, which will be a great start.
As always, and particularly whilst testing this service, i will be using my normal 1pt (£0.10) stake, unless choosing a more complex multiples bet (such as a Lucky 15).
Again, as always, let me know if you take this bet, or have alternative selections on a similar bet, and how well you did.
Until the next time.
Steve
