Hello again one and all,
A new week gets underway, and we have 26 races across four meetings today. Pontefract gets us started with their first of their six races at 2:10pm, swiftly followed by seven races from Southwell starting at 2:25pm. By the time Windsor gets going with it's seven racesat 5:10, Pontefract will have run its last race of the day, Whilst Musselburgh is the last to get into gear with their first of six races at 6:30pm, and closing out the day at 9:00pm.
Recap - Sunday, 2nd July, 2023
From eight tipsters with a winning start to the month, two had their selections declared non-runners, leaving six bets to placed for yesterday, none of which landed :(
Ten other tipsters did have a day two winner, however, which would have meant eighteen bets to place for today. Duplication of selections and runners being in the same race reduced that to twelve, and I ruled out one more as it was an odds-on shot. Thus a hefty eleven bets for today's racing action, and knowing my luck the ones i've excluded will be the winners today.
Tipsters Standings
Two days in and eighteen tipsters are on the board with a winner. Tom Park leads the P&L stats by a considerable margin already thanks to a 14-1 shot on Saturday. Last months
leader Lee Sobot continues in a poor recent run, with his second loss of the month contributing to his longest losing streak of the season of five.

Cheeky Extra Bet
One success, and one failure yesterday with the two bets of the three advised, thus we ended the day £0.02p in profit.
Of course, the one bet I ignored Twig due to the odds not being good for the advised each-way punt went and one the race, with the one we did back in that race Kinondo Kwetu came third (and a winning each way bet). Our other selection Jeepydoff Meel was a distant second.
Today we go for a bet in the Win Double market with two runners from Uttoxeter, both are short priced but the use of this market, gives a good opportunity for a decent return on this occassion.
Here is what Renegade Racing had to say about these two runners in his tipline subscriber e-mail this morning
Wick Green's form in 2023 has been pretty good with 2 wins, a 2nd place and being pulled up two starts ago. Last time out Wick Green was able to win by 10 lengths with cheek pieces being put on for the first time. He's a very good jumper and although is put up 7lbs in the weights, a similar performance to last time out will see him winning here. Fairlawn Flyer is the most likely opposition to beat Wick Green, he's falling in the weights however hasn't shown any real form for a while and most likely needs soft/heavy ground to show his best. Shetland Bus & Tango Bay has also been inconsistent and will need to improve to beat Wick Green here.
The next leg is for Absolute Ruler to win. He finished 3rd last time out however he ran his race and was beaten by 2 superior rated horses in the Novice's hurdle. Here we have a weaker field where Absolute Ruler, if running to his rating, should comfortably win this. The main danger is No Way Pedro, he recently had a stable change from Ireland to the UK. He was entered into a Novice's Handicap hurdle off a mark of 84 and won by 2 lengths. He's been put up 4 lbs and that looks fair enough, he didn't look ridiculously well handicapped. However with this not being a handicap No Way Pedro has to give 4lbs to Absolute Ruler despite being the much lower rated horse. It would take a career best to win this. Next in the market is Book of Secrets, he recently had a move from the Skelton's to a smaller yard. On debut he finished over 20 lengths off the winner in a small field and looks like he's regressing.
And finally...
That about wraps it up for another day,
Hope you all have a great day and rest of the week, and hope you find some success in your day, whether that be in the sports world or otherwise. And as usual if you follow the picks or go against them let me know, you never know there may be a reward coming your way with some SPORTS tokens.
Until tomorrow
