Today was just too hot for any kind of major physical work. So I watered the Tomato Plants (photo below), as they need watering at least twice a day (morning & evening). They are very thirsty plants! They don't like their leaves wet in hot weather as the water magnifies the Sun's rays and can scorch the leaves. So I water them carefully with a plastic "watering can" and not with my "Garden Hose".
There are two rows of these plants on each side of my Garden. All planted in free plastic containers (from my local Garden Centre). The pots are hard to see as the plants have grown so much in just a few weeks. In total I have about ten of these plants with just a few green Tomatoes growing. Hopefully they will start ripening soon into fresh tasty red Tomatoes LOL
Tomato Plant growing can be hard work with watering, pest control and liquid fertilizer. However, the end result is well worth the effort in my opinion. Remember that EVERY yellow flower eventually becomes a baby Tomato! Yayyy!
So here you go... Take a look! π
I can see at least ONE GREEN Tomato π
