Brighter days ahead - What a luxury to have views like these right outside.

Having spent a few recent posts complaining about a lack of snow in the skiing tracks nearby, it was nice to finally have a full day of heavy snow fall yesterday. With the weather clearing fully up again today with blue skies and sunshine, it was a beautiful sight to wander around the park seeing the new fallen snow shining in the sun.

Today's view from the top of "St. Hanshaugen" in Oslo, Norway

I am sure that most of you who read my content would associate Norway with snow and winter. After all, it is pretty far north, isn't it? Still, there's barely been any snow fall this year, which has left many worried that there woundn't be a very long skiing season this year (that's theNorwegians's #1 first world problem right there!)

So weeks like this where it is snowing heavily in the mountains where most people have their cabin are crucial for the country's mental well-being this time of the year. Or at least for those with true Norwegian genes who were born with skies on their feet!

Seeing a gorgous and sunny view like this at 4:15 pm was also a very positive reminder and demonstration that we're moving towards brighter days, having had months of little to no sunlight after 4 o'clock.

Anyways, I promised myself after my last post that I would give myself a bit of a break. But being on a streak I couldn't help but give a shorter post sharing a nice moment from the day:).

How are you all doing on the 02. 02. 22?

I was already noticing the days getting longer here in NL, in Norway it must be quite some minutes a day once we’re on the steep slope of the curve!

Must be nice to have that snow finally! I always love how it changes the sounds of your surroundings.

So I bet you are on skis this weekend? :D
